Hey Everyone,

I signed up with Hisstank waaay back in Aug of 08, and apparently this is my first post, WOW. Anyway, thought I would share this with the large active community we have here.

WOJM was the first to see this one. I created a full size movie poster ( 3 feet by 2 feet) of all the Marvel comics G.I. Joe comic covers. I have most of these issues and scanned alot myself. But the ones I didnt have I pulled from various comicbook data bases. (comicvine and comic book DB mostly)

It took me 4 days of resizing and reorganizing everything to make it look right and balanced.

I have also created a couple more but wont bother posting them yet. If anyone comments and wants to to the others I will.

But feel free to telll me what you think.

Thanks guys

Feedback was pretty positive about the Marvel run poster, so I guess I'll share the next one.

This one is bases mostly on the Image/DDP run. That comic run has been called Disavowed so thats what I've called the poster as well. But to fill it out more I have also included some Dreamwave and Dark Horse as well.

I really dig stuff like this. It looks like a lot of time and energy went into making each of these.

Thanks for sharing!

A lot of time did go into these. The Marvel one took me about 4 hours in total because I had to find a length x height ratio that worked to get a decent look to make the comics look comic size only smaller. And then copy and paste the images.

Disavowed wasnt as bad. Only 2 hrs.

I wish I had a giant ass scanner I could show off my new pride and joy poster.

I made up a different Marvel one that had a large white square at the bottom of it to allow for autographs.

Well at the Calgary Con Larry Hama, Ron Wagner and Bob Mcleod were all there at the GI Joe booth and they all signed it. And there is more room for more signatures. Herb Trimpe is my next must have on it.

If I can get a good photo of it I'll post it.
