My two boys and I went to our "kinda" local toy store. My buddy owns it and lets my kids rummage through all his extra stuff and pick out what they want. My oldest grabbed a Sharc and two other vintage vehicles (not pictured yet, because I still need to dust them). My youngest grabbed a "tomahawk looking" helicopter, a piece of a vintage vehicle, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (in Camo). I've seen the helicopter on here before as a custom, can't remember who makes it, but it was basically brand new. I snagged a Sigma 6 SkyBat, Headman, TF Skystriker (incomplete), and a loose ROC figure. The final damage = $40.00. I think it was a sweet deal, it made three kids happy at my house (I'm one of them).

This isn't a Joe only haul, but Joes make up a chunk of it. This is everything I've picked up in the last two weeks from Target, TRU, WM, F.Y.E., and ebay. Some retail finds were surprising, not that I'm complaining. A few I'm keeping moc, but I'm about to open most of them.

I snagged a Tunnel Rat, Techno Viper and SS today. My first purchase since.... um... the Shock Trooper from a few weeks back.

I picked up an extra Lifeline to open and a Zombie Viper to keep MOC at my local Gabriel Brothers on Sunday. Also got my Arctic Duke in the mail on Monday.

Well, it finally happened. I told myself I was never going to collect new age Joes, but I finally caved. The moment I saw the Zombie Vipers, I knew it was over. I held off for so long too.

I told myself I was going to keep it to Vipers too, and then I caved to the awesomeness of the new Grenadiers.

I've also have 2 Zombie Vipers, a Jungle Viper and a Techno Viper incoming from ebay. My wallet is going to implode when the new Night Viper drops. I think I'm going to have to sell my house.

It would be nice to find any of these in stores. I live in the SF bay area and only ever see firefly, duke, and cobra commander. Aweful!!

There was a fresh case put out so I also picked up two Renegades Cobra Troopers and left everything else.

P.S. This is the 2nd Renegades SS ive picked up locally at retail! Maybe my area in So Cal is just late to the game. (usually is)

Went by a store on Saturday called Vintage Stock in St. Louis (Chesterfield Mall) as I heard a tip that they had some of the new movie figures.

What I saw:

^ That's the pic of what I saw there at the store. Vintage Stock stores tend to carry mostly movies, CDs, books... and a pretty cool selection of 80s-present toys. Most loose stuff, but some carded stuff too. And once in a while they'll get in a case or two of new figures of Star Wars or GI JOE.

I wanted to get the Roadblock set, but since my JOE fun is pretty much 100% for my son now, I just got the Ninja set because that's what he picked out. If I was by myself, I probably would have gotten the Roadblock set and given him that. He'll get that set I suppose for his birthday and most of the basic figures and a vehicle or two.

If standard retail can keep the prices on the basic figures down, this line could be a real hit. Looks like someone cleaned out the figures other than Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow that were left. The deluxes were lame though in my opinion and are destined for clearance. The packaging was better in person than I thought.
