Hello. I am new to this site. I am a member of a few Transformers sites (under a different user name) and have been at bashing for a quite time. I just recently got back into GI Joe since the sigma 6 line and the 25th figs. Here is one of my projects I have been at for a little while. He's almost finished. Just gotta add some blackwash, and panel lines, as well as an overcoat. Hope you like. I will post more pics later tonight should be done then. enjoy.

The base figure is a sigma strike duke, and a halo 2 red spartan MC figure head. Tamaya putty, and testors model masters paint.
Enjoy.

Wow, looks great!
I think it might push it to the next level if the figure was dull and not shiny.
You can always seal him with a matte coat, just cover up the gold visor.

added magnets to the weapons, and tho the MCs' back to hold weapons, and a metal plasma grenade. I am currently making a spike grenade.
also, it is a matte finish, used some new stuff from krylon. The pics make him look 10 times shinnier than he really is. Tried to get higher res pics to get a better look at the detailing and washes, might be the reason for the glossed look.
Enjoy.

Try taking pics with good back lighting and no flash. That should take the shine off.
