I was leaving the house today to go and wash my truck that I'm selling today. I go down the street and see a box in front of a neighbors house 3 doors down. I stop and to my surprise this is what I see!!!!! I know its not complete but sure is cool none the less. My son pooped his pant a little I think!!! I do not have room for this in the house so I will be looking to trade if anyone is intrested. I will be posting more pics in a bit.

Thanks,

Chad

Hey did you happen to ask the backstory was the guy the original owner, I assume he was. Did he know what he was sitting on? Did you have to haggle. Come on man you just scored so time to tell the details...

wait a minute are you saying this was just sitting in front of the house out on the curb like the weekends trash????

chabbio
03-31-2012, 03:32 PM
No haggle or anything. It was in a box on the side of the road like it was left there for the garbage. My son went to the door and asked what he was doing with it and he said if you want it it's yours. I know it sounds crazy but thats the Gods honest truth. I never would have thought in a million years this could or would happen. I didnt pay a dime for it. I wish I could keep it but we dont have the room. I dont want to just box it up.

Get the shed dude. I have one and it's filled with old toys. I've been considering getting a second shed or like device to accommodate even more toys I would like to store. But yeah, you should definitely find a way to keep it, especially considering that your son likes it. It's a Flagg dude, keep it!

I have to agree... keep it. Most of the expensive (to ship) parts are there... the stuff you need will cost you, but the shipping on all of it will be much lower.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing when I first entered the thread, but he did send his son to the front door to get permission before taking it. Can you imagine if no one had claimed it? It would be in some landfill now, lol!

I know, right? I don't even want to think about it. I've never had one and would love one. I'm just really glad he was able to rescue one and that his son really likes it.

If you don't want it and collecting the other pieces is not an option for you then you might consider parting it out and listing it on Ebay.

Dude, keep it! Get your son some bunk beds. He can sleep on the top bunk and you can make the Flagg fit on the bottom. when you start running out of space in a room, you gotta build upward.

The odds of finding a Flagg in a box on the curb for trash pickup is staggering. Think how close this Flagg was to going to the dump, never to be seen or played with again.

Thanks for all the comments. I am really thinking about keeping it. I guess I'm going to look at sheds. My son has over 300 figures and tons of vehicles. I can't stand the toys being packed up and put away. They were made to be played with and for people to look at. Everything we have is on display and my son loves playing with them.
