Metal-Head vs. Cross Country GIJOE March Madness 2012

Metal-Head

Metal-Head joined Destro's Iron Grenadier army as his anti-tank specialist. When he began working for Cobra, he was there as a double-agent, spying on Cobra Commander for Destro. The Joes first encountered Metal-Head during the Battle of Benzheen when he personally went up against a group of G.I. Joe armored vehicles on foot, armed with his advanced missile system. Before the battle could be won, it was announced that Benzheen's Emir made a deal with Cobra, putting an end to hostilities. Metal-Head soon reported back to Destro in Scotland, warning that Cobra was planning to attack Castle Destro. Cobra Commander proved him right by launching an attack that led to the destruction of the castle.

Cross Country

Cross Country's primary military specialty is armor, and his secondary military specialty is heavy equipment operator. His father was a bulldozer operator, and his mother drove a grader, therefore he had a natural affinity for heavy machinery, coupled with an uncanny sense of direction and fearlessness under fire. Cross Country is also the H.A.V.O.C. driver

I'm humbled that my Cross Country custom was chosen to represent one of the many unproduced Joes in the modern era....hell, I want an Iceberg too...that said I hope this redneck country badass wins out proving that even Joe fans love a good underdog! :D

I don't dislike Cross Country but he's far from someone I feel I need in my collection. Damn, have to give it to him though he's been beast all tournament long, never saw that coming.

I guess I should throw things away but I still have last years tournament in a stack of papers on my desk. Anyway last year good ole' Cross Country went out in round one against Salvo. Fast forward a year and he's monster, go figure.

To me metal head was one of my picks. I stated before he is one of if not the only reasons that makes the DIC cartoon ok to watch. Cross country drove a vehicle i hated only because of that stupid hover thing. Please if we cant have a Back to the Future hover board yet how can he have a hover thing. Im not saying Cross Country wasnt tough in the comics but come on now you have to have serious balls and be totally crazy to shoot rockets off your whole body. Easy Pic METAL HEAD.

That is an awesome looking Cross-Country custom HobbyHobbs. I would buy that in a second. I THOUGHT Iceberg was going to take it all with Muskrats.
