Pathfinder's father was a Korean War veteran who taught him the finer points of military reconnaissance. He was not considered to be too young to learn how to rough it out in the wild swamps of Florida that it enabled him to breeze through much of the Army jungle training. It came to the point where he's teaching everyone including the instructors what jungle survival is all about. Soon thereafter, he got his certification as a jungle assault specialist and went on his way to become part of the Joe Team.

The saw viper has never had a figure to show his true comic vibe and i feel another one would be the same. While I feel this is Metal Heads game to loose, Pathfinder vs Metal Head to me shows a lack of DIC gi joe figures that fans imo are really looking for in the future to pump new blood into the gi joe mythology not another Sankeyes, beach head, storm shadow, ect.

Saw has this one. And probably the whole thing. But I'm hoping Cross Country goes all the way. I do agree with Squidbillies in that we need more figures from the Dic cartoons.

Voted Pathfinder only to see he's losing badly. That I am fine with, however a new SAW Viper needs to look like the comic version...grizzled look with stubble on the face and his green visor needs to be cracked showing one of his eyes looking slightly crazed!

Saw viper is pretty cool, especially considering he killed all those Joes, but he is also one of many. Pathfinder, on the other hand is one of a kind, and one of the coolest Joes from that era. Pathfinder FTW!

Voted for pathfinder cause I like it when the Joes win. But the comic series (#s 109-113 ) was a big deal back in the day, so I'm ok with a Saw-Viper win.
