I have version 1.6.2.0
I will be hitting the magento boards soon to find help there but before i commit i want to see if any tech savy guys on the tank are familier with this software.
We are having issues with speed on the back end. Also my main tech guy is flooded and so i am looking to branch out to get this store up and going. This is a paying job, I am not rich but will find a way to cough up funds as long as its reasonable. If you are famielier (as in fluent) with this software, how it works, how its supposed to work, how to use features, etc please contact me asap. I am having my tech guy send me the info to generate a temp user name and pass to get you in and send me the info on the 100 dollar cache software i dropped which helped the front end but did nothing for the back.
list of issues (more to come im sure)
Speed of the back end for loading product and navigating between menus (flushing the cache continuously does not do a damn thing, also this needs to be figures out as to why i keep having to do it)
import issues with the excel sheets and the picures not sticking
I need a low order fee option- there is a minimum order option but i want a low order fee option for the custoemrs who only want to spend like 2 bucks.....
I want to intregate stamps.com to use as my shipping service instead of paypal. so custmer can pay with paypal but i use stamps to print lable and it transfers the trackign number to the paypal transaction

I need this store finished asap. I have been down for way to long.
If you dont know magento but have a friend who does contact them if you can. You will be helping me out. Im fine paying a guy on magento but if i can give some money to a tanker and get a deal id rather do that.
I wont have too much technical info for you to answer so if you know this i will refer you to glen who can give you exact details of what needs to be done. I am learning this new software crash course style (im used to zen cart and oscommerce) so im of little help :(, ill learn as i go though :)
