Just posted up our latest ARAH Flashback of DESTRO! This is one of my favorite versions due to the almost DJ Turntable effect of the launcher and the awesome filecard. Enjoy!

I used all the different Destros as different male members of the Clan McCullen. In my Joeverse Destro is a title of honor given to male members of the McCullen family who are in the "family business." This particular Destro was the young son of '83 Destro and was particularly ruthless and brutal.

This thing always looked like a cheap knock-off of Destro to me. It pales in comparison to the first version. How could they get something so right with the first one, then even give it a new twist and more regal look with the second...then take a gigantic step back with this one? And they were still putting out some solid figures at the time. This though, wasn't one of them. They should all be destroyed.

I too used him as Destro's son... but I always loved that it stayed true to the original design and was just an "upgrade"... much like we are getting now. Can't think of many figures in the RAH era that had upgrades like this. Was always hoping for more in the original run.

I have two. One I bought when I was 10 then the other I found in a parking lot. The collar on one is darker red then the other.

I wanted to love this Destro... but I could never get past that pea-sized head. I mean, his helmeted head was smaller than everyone else's un-helmeted head.

I still remembering picking up this figure at the store along with the duke that sits on the canon. I still have him and i really like the disc launcher. Too bad Hasbro wont but out a ME version of this one.

I thought he sucked. His barrel chest was so huge he couldn't lower his arms.

This was the best vintage Destro imo. I have the 97 version. I love how it lacked that faux chest that the original had! This is also one of the BETTER early 90's figures.

It looks like they designed this figure based on some bad costume that somebody wore to a convention. One of those freaks that shaves his head and paints it silver.

This was my first Destro figure, and my favorite. But the Iron Grenadier version is a really close second. This was far superior to the original version in my opinion.
