Please don't make a joke out of the title. But would rather have the screw in the back of the figures like ARAH line did? It would make customizing so much easier.

It would but then you have that big ugly screw sticking out.

Screw.
The MU legs work like Joe legs, but they don't have screws. This could be done with joes (get rid of leg screws), and add the screw on the back.
The figures would be able to be dissasembled completely, which was the fun of the o-ring: create your own Joes!

But the MU legs suck. I have a good hand full of them, and I'm not happy with the way any of their hip joints work for playing . . . I mean displaying.

As a customizer, I would prefer the screw torso as cracking the figures torso can potentially damage it, and in my experience, always breaks at least 2 of the 4 little pegs that hold the 2 halves of the upper torso together :( ...so maybe just like the ARAH figures, the screw holding it together could be easily concealed within the backpack peg hole , so there would be no worries about screws sticking out? :)

I would love to be able to split the torso with easy... I have had nothing but bad luck trying to crack them open.

I've never tried to take apart a ME figure, and didn't even know that you had to crack them open. As an avid customizer of ARAH figures, the screw in back makes it a real easy process to take apart and put back together.
Yep, I've been saying it ever since they came out with the 25th line that they needed to have the screws in the back.
Not only that, but they should have the seperate waist too. Having that and a solid torso makes for a much better looking figure than having that damn split right across the chest.

I miss the screw. Cracking the torso apart without breaking it is difficult, and then glueing it back together sucks.

Honestly, I don't mind them nothaving back screws because i don't do customs, but it would be easier to disassemble them if they did have them i suppose. I used to take them apart all the time when i was a kid, and the screw made it so easy to do that. The only down side i can see is that the screw hole would probably be too shallow like the way the Valor vs venom figures were. Scarlett really pissed me off because her backpack never stayed in right, and it was because of the ill fitting backpack and shallow screw hole.
That sounds really wrong.
Anyway, I like the new backpack holes the figures have, so as long as my figures don't fall apart from a broken rubber band, i'm ok with them not having screws.

Ford-
I like the split torso, but if they found a better way to do it, I wouldn't mind.

Hells no, the figures would end up like those horrid DTC figures,.,...the torso pop with a sock is so easy...

I'd take a step up from LBCs if there were a screw.

It seems pretty unaminous!! I think if the figs did have a screw more people would want to customize in an extensive way and that way more figs should be brought/sold.

Give me the screw. Gotta love a good screw.
Definitely screw. I mean, they still have screws in the legs, so why not? Backpacks covered the hole anyway. Would make customizing SO much easier ... and less permanent.

I have some MUs too.
They suck because the t-bar inside the hip is plastic and thin, while joes have a sturdy bar, which makes the movement more..solid.
Screws, bars inside pants, solid movements... wth were we talking about??

The easy fix for that though is that they could just put a strap or two on the backpacks and do away with the pegs altogether.

I voted for screw. I also wouldn't mind it if the torso articulation was at the waist. I wouldn't want to go back to o-rings though because they break and need to be replaced.

What GI JOE ever had their screw sticking out?
That would be impossible since backpacks pegged into the hole the screw was in.

They actually need 2 more screws.
One in the upper torso, and one in the lower torso.

Actually I had 3 joes as a kid that the screw in the back came through the front of the chest. If you use to much torque on the screw it can push strait through and its really emsses up the joes chest area lol...
The day we go back to less articulated and screw backed joes is my outtie for collecting ...I'll stick with my vinta ecollection for O-ring screwbacked customization before I loose my modern Joes! You guys seriously need to work on your cusotmizing skills if you cant pop a torso and glue it back together lol...

I didn't like not having the screws in the back at first. Now having cracked so many torso's I like way they are now. I don't like the MU legs I want to have a screw for the legs.
