Has anyone seen a Canadian Con Backstop? Or does anyone have a picture they can post?

It's a custom.

As much as any of the JoeCon figures are "customs". Please note what it says on the bottom of the page:
"Hasbro authorized the use of the name Back-Stop and the creation of the 2nd version of his figure to the Canadian G.I. Joe Convention for use with it's Convention Set in 2009."

So, if it was authorized, its official. Or at least that has been the argument from the Joe Club for quite some time.

The Joe Club figures are factory produced, the Canadian figures are handpainted. Bit of a difference still.

I know it's authorized and official but that doesn't mean it's not a custom Backstop that was dyed and created by Joecanuck members in their workshop.

Here's the one I bought at the convention. Love this set.

You're lucky to have that set. I have the last 2 sets, but I wish I'd gotten that one too.
