Custom Cobrastriker

Here is a quick look at my custom Cobrastriker! I am NOT an experienced modeler, I'm not that great at painting and this is my very first attempt at customizing my favorite Joe vehicle, the Skystriker! I don't want it to look like Thundercracker but more like a Cobra influenced Striker. I still need to add details and Cobra stickers! I'm simply a Joe fan making my own mediocre version of a plane! This is my first post ever so I hope I did this correctly!

i think you did a great job period, never mind for your first attempt. are you planning on putting decals on it, like a rattler set or something?

Yes Crimson Gord, I plan to use some of the Rattler stickers for this plane. I was even thinking of painting a large red Cobra symbol on the back. Still trying to figure it out!

Yes Batman, I took this sucker apat to paint it. I've never done sucha thing before so there was a lot of trial and error! Thats why I used a reissue Skystriker I bought at Target.

There are lots of great customs on here! Glad to see many Joe fans making Joes looking even more kickin'!!

Looks awesome! I think once you have cobra insignias all over and the ten million "NOT A STEP" decals, it'll come into it's own and just look like a blue cobra jet, and less like Thundercracker.

great job... I cant believe this is ur first custom... did u tint the canopy? maybe it just looks ble from reflection.. if u did.. pelase let us know how u did it... and what type of paint did u use?
