Easily one of, if not my favorite unreleased figure. I recommend getting one for sure.

Oh Jesus Christ. That figure is horrible.

He looks like he stole a pair of David Lee Roth's pants.

He should've been called Random Accessory and Paint Apps Storm Shadow.

Thank god this wasn't released in the main stream of toys. Not a good toy. Too many SS.

As far as action figures go this is an awesome design. I would have picked this up just for the gear and the Cobra symbol on the glider.

I snagged one. Glad I did. But then again, I'm one of those freaks who have to have every SE and SS made. At least I don't collect Ninja Spider-Man figures. Nor will I collect ninja vehicles from the Retaliation line. Gotta draw the line in the sand somewhere. ;)

Most bad ass POC version of Storm Shadow. The wave 3 looks like a training Storm Shadow and the wave 1 was neat with the Prince of Persia influence, but this one looks straight up DANGEROUS. One man war in the jungle in my eyes.

Sad thing is, EVERY part used to make this is out on other figures EXCEPT that bad ass web gear.

I got 3 back when they were abundant...my sons each have one as do I. I may sell him off though as I an beginning to lean out my collection. :D

The paint apps are silly BUT I love them all the same. The figure is a cool bash but it really is the web gear that set it over the top.

AND! When I got mine, I had no idea what it was--just thought it was a SS I didn't have.

Wish I had one. Dont like the aspect though of him using a gun. Has he ever? I dont think so. He should have his bow.

Depends which continuity. In ROC he had a pistol. In ARAH he's a Vietnam LRRP vet and used guns in addition to his bow. He also used guns later on, I think when he was part of Ninja Force. Most ninjas didn't use guns but some did.

Oh right he had a uzi in ninja force. I never liked the aspect of a ninja using a gun. Took away from the silent (I know silencers but still) part of a ninja and what they really are. Didnt bother me with snake eyes cause he seemed like he never really embraced all the ninja aspects like SS did.

"web-gear"

Not a bad figure. The webgear was awesome and the legs looked good with that torso (that combo was going to be the base for the first POC Storm Shadow as seen in the insert). He suffered from giraffe neck though. The same head was used on Resolute Storm Shadow and fit fine on the Quick Kick torso.

In the comics, Storm Shadow was first shown using a gun in Marvel issue #24 when he helped Cobra Commander escape.

Like Shin said, he used guns when he was part of the LRRP in Vietnam (Marvel issue #26). He also had a mini-uzi in the 25th comic pack with Firefly and was even shown using it.

Ninja will use whatever they can as a weapon. Even traditional ninja would have used guns if they needed to. It most certainly would be an advantage for a modern ninja to use a gun.

I was able to get this figure a few months ago and love it. I swapped out the head with ROC paris pursuit SS and the skin tones match perfectly. Neat figure.
