MAINFRAME in the new comics + movies?

Computers continue to play an important role in our world. So has the importance of the Joe called Mainframe. I like how the new comics recognize Mainframe with increased appearances + greater roles (e.g. Origins + Retaliation Prequels).

So where do you guys think Mainframe should go from here? Both in the comics and possibly future movies? What has IDW gotten right / where did they go wrong with Mainframe?

I think Hasbro + the greater brand is really missing out by not using this character enough. I attended a kids birthday party where pre-pubescent BOYS were watching and even singing along to the theme song of....(wait for it).....iCarly. A show based on a girl + computer.

DDP #25. He and Flash were killed by a bomb.

Mainframe is dead in the Retaliation universe.

In IDW he serves as the guy running the ops center systems. Good role and use for him.

I don't like that IDW focused on his infatuation over Scarlett.
If they need a "love story" hook him up with Dialtone since they work together on a regular basis.

I grew up with the Marvel run and since DDP continued that it is my canon. To each their own I supposed, but all who died in ARAH and DDP are KIA in my verse as well. No starting over here.

ICarly is a great show!

Can't say anything bad on iCarly when she's doing so good at ratings, versus Resolute + Renegades, combined. I think iCarly's computer theme is not only good. Its really great. In great touch with kids today. If only the Joe brand can somehow get in touch with that, and use Mainframe in some similar way, that connects to kids (so connected with the net, tablets, computers). Maybe more Mainframe can help kids connect to the Joe brand. Consider also the recent trends of geek chic (Mainframe) and punk rock (Zarana his former girlfriend) and there's a combo / conflict worthy of exploration; in future toons / movies. All of which, younger generations may feel much more connected to and interested in.

No. I had thought about it, but it would still be hard for me to forget what has already happened. I'm satisfied with the direction my verse has gone in and it keeps me from spending on another hobby right now.
