They can slap the name ” Rattler” on anything. They did it before with the Stinger. So Rattler doesn't really mean anything. Anything with wings could be called a Rattler too. So the question is extremely vague. Hasbro could literally slap any name on any product.

itll have lights and sounds with spring loaded weapons and cost too much for the "intended" consumers to ever buy it, oldschool fans a nd collectors will abhore it and itll be anyone but hasbros fault it didnt sell ...im having ROC night raven flash backs.

Good point, it will be scalled down to be a small hovercraft called the Night Rattler with homages to the original in smaller unproportioned sizes...I still remeber back in middle 2008 when i caught a hasbro rep and was all excited about asking questiosn what was next for the 25th/ME/Resolute stuff and she said "we have a huge suprise coming in 09....a night raven!" Of course vintage sugarplums of cinemon danced in my head and then I saw it on Hisstank and I was like...erm wtf...dashed my sugerplum dreams and banished them to the 10th level of hades.

Well, since they already have a 25th version in classic and tiger force color-ways, I would say the chances are good for either occurrence. The downside to this is that in classic Hasbro fashion, it will be just a weak repaint packaged with a kit-bash pilot and a few spring loaded missiles.

My vote was for within 2 yrs. like it was said earlier we got one for the 25th anniversary and a tiger force repaint too. So I think if we were to get one it won't be anytime soon.

I wouldn't mine if they repainted it in movie colors (Black Hasbro) No new molds needed. If the spring loaded stuff attached to the wing mounts, then they could easly be removed & swapped out. My Skystriker needs something to fight!

Just give it a different name and have an official Hasbro's seal of approval and appology on the box for making the ill-fated reference. I dont like propoganda lol...especially when it comes to the Night Raven...it can not an dwill not be erased from history by being turned into the ROC Cobra Pidgeon.

However, judging by the way Hasbro haphazardly releases new products, and, instead, gives us more versions of figs and vehicles that they just released during the prior years, we'll probably just get the 40th version of Duke and the 60th version of Destro.

Why would Hasbro do that? We got the Rattler (w/ wings) a few years ago as a Target Exclusive. We begged for a Sky Striker, Hasbro got it out for us Collectors and look how well that went. Now we'll never get an updated Killer W.H.A.L.E.
