NEWS FLASH ! The Governor of Texas has approved a bill that will allow Toy Collectors and Dealers from Oklahoma permission to enter Texas for the JMV Toy Collectors Show in Allen,Texas on April 22,2012.

In years past the laws in Texas made it difficult for Oklahomans (Okies) to cross state lines into Texas because of cultural differences . When asked about this sudden change of heart the Govenor replied "Hell,Why not ? I love Okies (Oklahomans) ! They got money to burn and as Texans we need to help them spend it before them folks in Kansas do."

*please note: this just a joke and not official. However we encourage Oklahomans and anybody else from any other state or country to cross state lines and check out our show on April 22 :)

Just wanted to pop in here real quick and say I had a great time and did pretty well at the show. For a quick one day event, this went very well. I have to say though, that if I didn't have previous show experience setting up and taking down, that it would have gone bad for me. I had WAYYY too much inventory with me and I'm amazed how quickly I got things up and running and how quickly I got it all down too (even though I was the last one to leave the room). Can't wait for the next show! Thanks again James!

Thanks for setting up Drew. The next show in Allen will be July 22 and we will make everyone wear lemon yellow polo shirts in honor of your super toy display. :)

Does your lemon yellow theme have something to do with "The Yellow Rose of Texas ?"

No, It was just a good contrast of colors and something that is eye catching from across the room.

So if everyone will be supporting Hardly Used Toys, then I'll get a cut of everyone's profits! I like that! Thanks James!

Thanks Sean! Keep in touch and don't forget to keep an eye on the North Texas thread in the Sightings section. There are a bunch of cool guys in there who can help in all aspects of Joe collecting. See you soon!
