...has Hasbro made it in the 25th sculpt yet?

Mine's Breaker. I've always liked the character, then after I started reading the original comic a few years back I just liked him more (Though it did bother me that he didn't have a beard....yeah I grew up on the toon :) ) So I was definately stoked when I saw the comic pack with him in it (Especially with the bubble gum)

My favs were Flash and Rock 'n' Roll (from the figs) and then Grunt (from the comics).

Although, I think I may be getting some new favs from these 25th sculpts just from the qualilty, especially Stalker. I can't wait to have all the original 13 in hand.

My favorites were Grunt, Snake Eyes and Stalker.
I'm really looking forward to seeing a 25th Grunt.

Flash and Breaker were my first two Joes and are my favorite originals. It is a good thing that two new versions of Flash were made this year, especially since we only had two in the previous 24 years. I will have to pick up the convention Flash off of ebay eventually.

My favorite was Flash. I am anxiously awaiting new pics of the 25th Flash with the updated padding sculpt

Grand Slam, Stalker, Snake Eyes, Scarlett. Probably in that order.

EDIT: You know, I should've read the whole topic.

Obviously the only one who is a real answer to the real question is Grand Slam, and I am sad to see him being reissued as a completely straight repaint of Flash, even the head and accessories. And also saddled with an odd vehicle choice.

probably Rock n' Roll ~ he seemed the most distinctive out of the 'green shirts' and i liked his character in the comics. plus he rocked the M-60. i've always been partial to the heavy machine gunners and snipers

Breaker and Snake-Eyes were my favorites, as they were my first two figures.

Wow, Ogre, were we seperated at birth?!?!?!

Those 3 are my favorites too..and I'm Jonesin' for a 25th Grunt. Can't have a Joe Team without Grunt. It's sacreligious.

Although I'm always going to be partial to Snake Eyes and Stalker, of the Joe's that we haven't seen a 25th version of yet (as per your request), I'd go with Rock 'n' Roll.

I sincerely hope that when Hasbro does him he's in his classic 1980's style, and not some version 2 or older style. Sometimes you just shouldn't mess with perfection!

Rock 'N Roll all the way, He was a beach bum who was the only Joe from Southern California (like me) and had an awesome machine gun to boot! Stalker and Snake-Eyes were favorites, as well. I really hope we see Zap made soon, too.

Yeah... V2 Rock'n Roll was my favorite too. Sounds impractical but I liked the rifle mounted to his leg.

every time I got a new one he became my favorite. Reason being I guess money was tight so when Mom said I could pick one out I had already thought long and hard on which one I needed most and then just hoped the store had it! Fun now that I think back on it

Clutch and Scarlett. I loved their back and forth banter in the comics. I'm betting an updated Vamp and Clutch are in our future.

Stalker and Scarlett. They weren't my firsts, but they quickly became my faves.

As a kid it was Snake Eyes for sure. My favorite version of him is his V2 though. Now I would say my favorite is Stalker.

The first Joes I ever picked up were Rock n Roll and Flash. Those would have been my first two choices, but since Hasbro is already making them, I'd like to see Clutch.

I loved seeing the old boys trotted out for the "Tanks for the Memories" set at Joe Con, but Breaker, and Short Fuse were conspicuously missing.

Scarlett and Hawk. I'm really happy with the 25th Scarlett, and the upcoming Hawk looks really good too.

My favorites as a kid were Hawk & Snake Eyes v1. Can't wait to get my hands on the new Hawk comin' out.

Had to be Snake Eyes because he just didn't seem to fit in. Then Hawk.

But here is a dumb question...

The original 13 consists of who?
I can't say that I'm a newbie, since collected from 82- 88 or so... But I'm a bit confused by the count. Is it based on the first carded figures plus the 2 mail ins?

1. Flash
2. Grunt
3. Zap
4. Cobra
5. Cobra Officer
6. Scarlett
7. Snake Eyes
8. Breaker
9. Short Fuse
10. Rock n Roll
11. Stalker

Mail ins
12. Cobra Commander
13. Major Bludd

But you can't forget Clutch, Hawk, Grand Slam and Steeler.

Pardon the newness, but I only recently got back because of the 25th figures... which are amazing.

Have to say Clutch, like the way he was so smart mouthed and loved to hit on the ladies. Try taking Clutch and shipwreck to a singles bar!

I'm going to go with Rock n Roll because like him I'm a bass player. Of course later on in life when I joined the Army I ended up giving several training classes in the use of the M-60.
My next one would be Grunt just because his card art was so cool.
And finally Stalker only because he was one of my first Joes.

I'd have to say my fav. of the originals would be Snake Eyes since I didnt really get into Joes until 83/84 so I really missed out on the very first characters.

My fav. Joe of the first few years would have to be Cutter since he drove the coolest, most awesomest (is that a word?) vehicle in all of GIJoe... at least in the mind of a 7 year old boy on Christmas day.

Of the original 13 first would be Breaker then Scarlett. Liked both of them in the TV show.

#1. Scarlett (because the sheer amount of molded on weapons and gear)

#2 Flash (hell he was the Laser weapons trooper)

#3. Steeler, because to me he was just so cool with his helmet and Tank!
#4. Hawk With The MMS I'd love 25th versions of the original vehicles!!!! I'm on a roll!
