I'm a Joe fan. I don't collect anything else; no marvel, star wars, transformers, nuthin'. Now that the Rock and Bruce Willis are coming out in retaliation, I keep thinking, who could make the Gi Joe franchise even better? My first guess is Samuel L. Jackson. For the first time in thirty years, I actually want to introduce a toy from another line into my joeverse. That being said, what is the best 1:18 Samuel L. Jackson out there? I saw a TRU exclusive nick fury in an iron man 4 pack that was pretty cool. Anything better out there?

I think that the best one out there. The avengers toyline might bring out a figure, but I am not sure.

There's a Nick Fury coming out in the Avengers line, I think wave 4. It will probably have the same level of articulation as the other Avengers figures released so far, but I'm planning on picking him up and trying a headswap with the IM2 version since that version has a Joe body.

Which, if you read his post, that's the one he is asking about.

Yeah, that Iron Man 2 Nick Fury is made using Joe parts, so it would be easy to use him as a Crossover character. He fits in great!

I'm holding out for a David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury action figure. I'll accept no other.

The IM2 pack has the best Fury. I swapped out the parts with a ROC trenchcoat Snake Eyes & have a pretty cool Flint & Nick Fury out of it.

I'm guessing that the new Fury in the single pack will be a less articulated like the other avengers seem to be.

If you are looking for more of a Samuel L. Jackson then Star Wars is the way to go on that.

PS
If anyone want more army drones PM me an offer I got 2 from the pack, & my TRU still has a few 4 packs left.

It really was a shame that the classic Nick Fury was a mail in exclusive. What ever happened to that?

Not only is it the best, it's the only one. We might get one in the Avengers line or we might not. If you want a 1:18 Nick Fury then the TRU set is it.

You had to purchase a year of Marvel comics Digital Comics which I think gave you access to every comic Marvel produced in a year digitally for about $60. You also got Nick Fury. They give away a figure each year I think. He was the first.

What's sad is that the mail away Fury sucks. I think we could really use a good looking MU classic Fury too.

You know nothing against Sam's version but the Hoff's version really looks like the comic one of old.

I would buy a Hoff Fury figure. But from clips I've seen, I never want to watch the movie.
