When I did mine (shameless plug) http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-joe-toys-modern-general-discussion/213655-cobra-fortress-diorama.html I couldn't find any affordable, decent-scale trees so I had to go desert. I would have rather been able to go your way because it looks awesome.

Thanks very much! I bought them from Phil's Hobby Shop (he also sells them in Ebay) for 16-17 dollars a pack of 2 trees. They're about 8-9 inches tall, so they're quite suitable and tall enough height as trees for the 4 inch g.i. joe figures :)

Yup, custom paint the Cobra Gunship using the Mr. Hobby's Gundam Color Spray can and the color is G Blue 3 (Semi Gloss) but i used the Tamiya's clear flat coat for it :)

Thanks very much! The castle's from Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian's Deluxe Castle Playset, you can get it from Ebay but they're pricey (some folks selling it for 90 dollars) but i got mine at 27 dollars :)

The trees are bought from Phil's Hobby shop (he's also selling them in ebay), these trees are 8-9 inches tall so they're suitable height and size for g.i. joe figures :)

I bought the smaller bushes also in Ebay as well, they're about 1.25 inch in height :)

The camo netting on the Razorback vehicle was bought in Ebay, it was custom made :)

Thanks very much! I saw your pics on the Cobra Fortress last week ago and i'm pretty amazed by the sheer size of it! I always wanted to do a desert dio but just couldn't find any affordable sand mat to do it :(

As someone else said the posing on Destro is great. And I've seen plenty of Narnia castles used for Castle Destro but in that first pic I didn't recognize it immediately because of everything else going on around it. Great dio.
