This is a map of my area, my house is marked with the google A symbol and the areas for parking are marked in red!




You can show up at any time, I will be up early to setup and generally people begin to show up around 8am to setup their items for sale or trade. I am located in North St. Pete and I am near the highway, the location is easy to find.

We can always do something special for the meet, let me know your ideas guys. I have plenty of raffle tickets if you all wish to do a raffle again. I have no problem donating an item for a raffle.

If you guys are serious about a van, look up a place called Carl's Van Rentals. We used them last year to rent a large passenger van for a road trip with the family. Their price was way better than any of the typical rental companies and the van was in decent shape. It made the 2500 mile round trip without a problem.

Airbags won't go off in a rear end collision. They only go off in a frontal collision or side impact if the vehicle has side curtain airbags. When you get rear ended your momentum goes backwards so airbags would really do no good.

But your insurance is not responsible for paying, the other guy's insurance is. If you were rear-ended, then the other guy is always at fault. He had the situation in front of him to monitor and he didn't. The question is, does he have enough coverage to cover the cost of a brand new car? (I don't know what the 626's cost.)

I don't know anything about Mazda's and never even drove one. But clearly the guy had to be have been flying when he hit you. If the trunk collapsed and took the impact of the crash, then I think the car did its job. The idea was for you to survive and you did. Really, that car might have not been so bad.

Glad to hear you're okay scream. Yeah, got rear ended last may, definitely puts a cramp in your style. The good part of that is that I got a new jeep grand Cherokee as a rental while my car was in the shop. My wife fell in love with it, we will be buying her one in march of next year. Anyway, rest up and make sure you do some stretches to keep from tightening up.

If its a major one, then there should be no issues and it will get done in a timely manner.

Their insurance company should send a claims adjuster to check out your vehicles damage and determine if its totaled or not within a weeks time but I would constantly call them and complain that the car was your means of transportation to get them to work faster. When it happened to me, I had an agent inspecting my car within 4 days time and a claims check within a week after that.

I have never had State Farm as they tend to be quite pricey. I have Progressive now, just switched to them from Geico, before I had them but changed a to few others that cost less. Progressive was the best overall price and I think they are a good insurance company. I had nothing but problems with Geico.

Fun time as usual. Got some good stuff and got rid of some stuff. Nice to see everybody out there. I still can't believe that bus full of strippers broke down outside and wanted to chill in the hot tub while the mechanic was on his way. Who would've known they were into Joes? Sucks for everyone who skipped this meet.

Yah everyone missed out but us! Lucky for me that bus was full of hot Asians! Wonder how it managed to break down in front of my house, mhmm weird?

Yeah even the t-shirts were out of the budget! I didnt spend a dime but I did see a sweet 77 TA I would love to have. It was awesome to be there and a short TV spot on speed channel walking by in the crowed. LOL!!

It's only $20 at the gate for the public. My friend won 2 tickets off facebook so we went.

I put it out that I'd be willing to host one in South Florida after the JoeCon. We still haven't had our own here yet. Spread around some of the all-around Joe goodness.

Keep me posted if you want the Hammerhead and Night Rhino. Also, next month is a bit too close to Joecon and I will be in Taiwan, not sure how many people could make it. I prefer not to miss any meets myself.

When we had them every 6 months or so, people went out of their way to make it because another one was not coming for 6 months. Having them every month makes for lower attendance at each one. That was clear at this past meet where a lot fewer people showed up, particularly the out-of-towners. Give it some time for people to save up money, get items to trade/sell, and just simply come up with new things they are looking for.

I agree with this. I also think twice a year was a perfect schedule. Maybe quarterly, if we rotate locations. You know, Tampa once, Daytona once, South Florida once, Orlando area once. That may also work. It's also a lot of work, packing up for the trip, setting up
