Helmet and head casts works

Hey everyone- here are some projects I've been working on. I got tired of buying and chopping up figures to make customs or dios so I started casting stuff. I'm just gonna put some stuff up. let me know what you guys think.
I am working on a diorama with snake eyes the wall is a cast and the hazard viper is for another diorama, the head is a cast.

Just adding a few things I've done over the last few days. I need to do this stuff to keep my mind at ease.
The zombie arms and legs were made by request. The joints don't move cause they just wanted it from the knee and elbow down.

I would say after everythng was said and done, close to a 1000. I've been casting for about 7-8 years but I just recently got into it heavy so I wanted to do it right.

I wish casting wasn't so expensive. Although with the availability and affordability of 3D printers, that might be the way to go. I'd love to do some of my own designs. These look great though - I'd definitely buy some in the meantime.

Here is a little update on some zombie vipers Compound Z canisters. These are just test casts, Ill have the reg ones ready soon.

Here they are. Just need to finish cleaning them up but they are done. maybe slightly more blue but what do you guys think? If anyone wants PM so I can get you on the list, These puppies are in demand.

It's kinda hard to explain in few sentences, but I will try. Casting is very time consuming and takes some patience. I would recommend wearing a mask of some sort the fumes can be toxic and it can me messy at times....just to give you an idea, my entire three car garage is my shop. Can be very expensive if you don't know what your doing, silicone is very expensive. In the long run I think is way better than cutting up figures and easier. Hope this is helpful.

Well I have been talking about it for a long time and I am finally finished with the HISS tank upgrade kit, I fabricated the entire chassis to look like the original but it has the real working wheels and tracks. I will be trying to post a separate thread, I did a lot to make this and if anyone has questions I will be happy to answer them. As usual if anyone wants some just pm me.
Plus the kit just pops on the the body of the tank all you need to do is remove the old one and tow hitch (it is cast in to the chassis) and pop on the kit and it does come with the treads. I wanted to get this up tonight so I only put one tread on in case if anyone is wondering.

Superb cast! Fits on the ball joint on the neck perfectly -no "modding" required. All I did to paint it was use some flat black Model Masters Acryl and just did subsequent washes. Doing the yellow on the eyes was the hardest part but that isn't saying much.

Overall I'm very happy with the way the head turned out. It looks factory made as far as detail and sturdiness.

orezona-That looks awesome, I don't know if had mentioned it anywhere but that head mod was done by snakeslayer and I cast it. I also have a shock trooper zombie head mod he did that I will post tomorrow. Keep the updates coming.

Have you ever thought of casting the gear off BBi figures? Like the pouches and such. There are some older SEALs that have an extra pair of gloves hanging from their belts, I would love some of those for my customs. I saw today you made grenades of different types...very nice. And the clear LL goggles...awesome.
