Target Video Game Clearance - After your GI Joe Searching!

Hi everyone,

Here is a thread for us Tankers who go to check our GI Joes at Target but then check out the clearance isle for video games. Please post your finds because the games put out on clearances are pretty much national but prices could be lower or higher and availability is typically YMMV.

As of October 11th at Target:

Found "LOST" for the PC for $4.99 (bought it but couldn't run it on my 2 yr. old laptop due to insufficient video card)

NBA Live 2008 - XB360 - $14.99, PS2 - $13.99 and Wii - $7.99 (typically I buy the XB360's for achievements but got it for the Wii since it was cheap)

FIFA SOCCER: $12.99 (Came for this today but nada)

I also saw Track and Field for the DS for $20, Unreal Tournament for PS3 for $19.99 I think, Full Spectrum Warrior for XB360 I think for $20 something, No More Heroes for the Wii for $20 and many other Wii games for $20 (nothing great....Sega Bass Hunting and some games I wouldn't buy).

I tried getting Kane and Lynch, but someone got the copy i was watching. Almost had it for 9.98. This is one of the few ways I'll buy games I'm on the fence about. I don't feel bad about getting them at these price when they rate poorly. Plus they clearance a ton of great games that just dont sell well. Those are the sweetest deals.

You have sweet deals at your Target! Transformers the movie PC is still $19 at our place. Supreme Commander I got from Target for $7.99, Universe at War...great price (I ended up buying it from Big Lots for $6) since the lowest I saw it at Target was $14.99.

Wow "Turning Point" already at 4.98...I'd probably get that one. "Rise of Nations" is game I think you'll always find cheap but you know, one of the best PC games I've played and really got into.

Wish I had a PS3 because Target always has sales on those games.

This game is NEW and it's clearance priced to $42.

If it wasn't for Motorstorm, I'd be all over this.

Went by Target today and all I saw was Unreal Tournament and a basketball game for the PS3 for under $20 and backyard football for the Wii. Nothing great in terms of major clearance deals.

saw pc dmc4 for 5 bucks. almost bought it but i rather have a toy instead.

I picked up both Gears of War and Army of Two for $27 something each on Saturday at Target.

I only saw two games under $15 and they were both PSP games: Final Fantasy Tactics (Great game but bought it when it first came out) but I did buy "Hot Shots Golf 2" which I wanted but glad to buy it for $14.99. Everything else was still priced pretty high. Was hoping the Devil May Cry 4 XBOX 360's would have gone down and it has but still over $30

Went today at Wal-Mart and saw Medal of Honor: Airborne I think it is for the 360 for $13.98. A lot of PC stuff for sale...picked up the Adventure Collection box set for $9.98

Saw Civilization for Xbox 360 for $14.99 and Sonic for PSP I think for $9.99. Also, a few PC games very cheap...Conan and CSI. Dead or Alive IV still $26.99.

Saw Devil May Cry 4 for XB360 for $14.99...was surprised since the other store Target I was at minutes earlier had it for over $40 still.

Also, picked up the 2K Major League Baseball 2K8 for $8.99 for the 360.

Picked up AMF Bowling Pinbusters! for the Nintendo Wii for $3.74... Too cheap to pass up. Not sure if it's fun as Wii Bowling but I'm not losing much for a game that's under $4.

Went to my local Target...Saw Neverwinter Nights still at $19.99 (waiting for that to go down to $9.99) and Patapon for $9.99. Everything almost wiped out.

BTW...for a short time, Blockbuster/Gamerush has a B1G1 sale. A few games you can get for $14.99 or less. I bought a Gundam game for the PS3....for $9.99 (since Gundam games tend to have a short print run and skyrocket in price) and some fighting game for the old XBOX for free. But for those who want sports games especially for XB360 achievement points, a lot of them are $4.99-$9.99.
