which Joe /Cobra animal partner-ups would you like to see SS handle

With the release of the SE and timber combo box it got me thinking what other Joe or cobra Animal partner figures would you like to see SideShow tackle next ? for me its a toss up from Mutt and Junkyard or a Crocmaster and a large Croc !! :)

I would actually love to see a Gnawgahyde/Wild Boar set. SS would do an amazing job and it would be great to see more main cobra characters in their line up.

Croc Master would be awesome with his croc or crocs, Mutt and Junkyard are also high on my want list...maybe law and order...I am for old school Joe but I don't know how I would feel buying a Spirit in his 80's outfit lol

I hear ya. However, Sideshow has been doing a killer job of modernizing the Joes. Did you read the IDW-verse story with Spirit in it? I think his look in that would still keep the "spirit" of the character, pardon the AWFUL pun. Yet not be completely offensive. I think he'd be a great addition to the desert theatre with Dusty. Basically a modern scout in desert fatigues with the tanktop and bandana as personal touches. Especially considering there's a full set of Cobra Desert Operatives out there. Dusty could use the help. :/

I have the comics but haven't read them/looked through them yet I have seen other versions of Spirit that have been pretty cool, if they could modernize the 80's uniform I would be surprised, I would still get it though no matter what cuz I like supporting this line.

Basically imagine if they replaced his buckskins and boots with standard desert fatigues and boots. Then put him in a wife beater under a loose unbuttoned fatigue shirt with a typical kerchief red bandana instead of the cav scout shirt and headband. It's not ideal, but it's atleast modern and not stereotypically offense. Atleast as far as I know. It was a really interesting take on the character, though. Instead of making him a "mystic" or something to do with his heritage they explained his superb tracking ability as some sort of minor genetic disorder. It also explained why he was a loner. It was really cool, and I wish we got to see this take on the character again. He was definitely a character worth getting to know more, imo.

Hahah, yeah the Polystone version definitely looked alot better. I gotta say. I'm a little miffed. I loved the original commando Snake Eyes. If the first sideshow figure had been this one minus Timber I would have gotten it. However, I had no interest in visor SE, and I've no real interest in Timber. Sooo...
