is a pain in the ass....

trying to get a neon green color that would match vintage Major Altitude helmet..

I got it right with my first Altitude custom, now I am having trouble reproducing it.

i had this same problem with the two different shades of purple for my old custom techno vipers. i was mixing all sorts of tamiya paints to get them right and i found out that model master makes both shades damn near bang on, lol.

The lighting your in is very key. I find sunlight helps me match the colors better, not the dull light of a light bulb in the den or florecsent lights in the kitchen.

I broke down....

went to Michaels and bought a tube of light green acrylic paint.
and it matches perfectly.
