Thread subscription inquiry.

I subscribed to a thread, but when I click it, it still starts me on page one, which kinda negates the entire idea!

When you subscribe to a thread and read every post in it, is there a way to go back at a later time (after new posts have been made) and read ONLY the posts that have been made after the last one you read?

ANd what is the software name for this type of forum? I wanna read up on them, so I don't have silly questions like this!

When you subscribe to a thread, you're subscribing to just that, the thread itself. I'll do a bit of research and see if there's a way to tweak it so that it brings you to the most recent posts.

As for what kind of software we use...its MAGIC!
