I actually thought of this for Star Wars first, but it applies to Joe as well. Since most vehicles are basically impossible, would key parts be acceptable? Like a MOBAT turret or Skystriker cockpit or even the bridge of the Flagg. It's no substitute for a vehicle, but at least it's some kind of hardware for the Joes to interact with.

The command center for the pit is coming soon, and the bridge of a flag is something that is nearly impossible to do. See how small the command center is to keep it to budget.

And space constrain too, do you think that a lot of us would pay or rather buy something that big?

It ends up looking odd. I wouldn't mind seeing the RAM motorcycle or Zartan's skier in full 1/6 scale, though.

This. While we may never see, or be able to afford a 1/6th scale HISS tank, Stinger, or Rattler. There's no reason they couldn't skip some of these environments, or stagger them with smaller vehicles like...

This. How bad would Firefly look in this?!

Or this for your Cobra Trooper...

or THIS! (though to be fair, this would just make me want a Stinger with Driver :/)

And many, many other of the small playset/vehicles would work. As mentioned above, The RAM cycle. The Trouble Bubble. The CLAW glider? All of these are more then doable.

Dragon does some nice models that work for 1/6 figures and are around $100. If they can do this for $100. A stinger shouldn't be too much more expensive.

I was expecting some moron suggesting Hasbro stop making vehicles and put out figure dios instead.

Next thread!!!

I'm on board with all of this. Sideshow should know that I'd be more inclined to buy multiple Cobra soldiers if they had...like...things to do.

Unfortunately, I think that if Sideshow made a Stinger, it'd probably cost $400.

When I get me mitts on Zartan I'm gonna make a Chamelion Swamp Skier for him.

I'd love to get in scale vehicles, but the environments are already outta my price range, not to mention getting f^(*ed by customs charges EVERY time I order from Sideshow. It's like another £20 on top of whatever the figure costs.

That I have no doubt of. But it is possible to be done cheaper and make a profit. The dragon stuff is nice and good quality. The body on the jeep is a heavy, solid piece.

This was made by BBI in the past, it was poor quality but good nonetheless. But with the standards and material costs now, I don't think it'll be cheap to produce such anymore.

There's a 1/6 scale Batmobile from the 89 movie, coming out for $600 and they already did a Tumbler version. So I could see them doing a VAMP which would probably be in the price range of the Batmobile's.

As much as I'd love a Wild Weasel, I really wouldn't spend anything on just the cockpit of a Rattler. It'd just be an expensive reminder of how much I'd like the rest of it. :/

As great as a 1/6th Stinger would be, unless it came with a Cobra Trooper "repaint" as a Stinger Driver there would be NO WAY I'd pay over 200 for it.

That's pretty much what I had in mind.

wait until you see the reveal for the Chameleon this summer from Sideshow.

With SideShow's Payment Plan, I could swing a $100 a month to pay for one of these. I'd like to see a VAMP first.

I would rather pay hundreds for vehicles than hundreds on generic environments....the Arashikage temple is pretty awesome though. I wouldn't mind environments that actually meant something in the Joe culture parts of the terror drom would be cool. I think they said they would be making vehicles, Hot Toys with the batmobile is paving the way

I'd be all for small "backdrops" versus the large environments in the sub $100 range...give me brick walls that are modular, Terror Drome walls with consoles or markings, U.S.S. Flagg deck walls with rivets, maybe even jungle brush. The current environments take you having to add additional things to make them look complete.
