So yesterday an image of a Native American-themed Assassin was leaked across the web, and today Ubisoft confirmed it- with official box art.

I haven't even played Revelations yet despite owning it from launch, but I will say that the change of scenery has me intrigued.

I haven't even played the first AC yet, or any AC for that matter. LOL.
Anyway... new screenshots of AC3: Side Mission » Screenshotting: Assassin's Creed III (http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mission/2012/03/02/screenshotting-assassins-creed-iii/)
Man, IDK... looks a lot like jungle/gorilla warfare to me... I thought AC was about city stealth killing/climb a tall spire and look around gameplay. LOL.

Yeah, apparently the Devs are claiming Red Dead Redemption as a inspiration for a lot of the changes and the "Wilderness" aspects of the game, though you'll probably still get to free-run through some of the big colonial cities (New York, Philadelphia, and Boston, most likely).

Oh crap... I take back anything bad I said about this game...

...cuz it looks awesome. I thought it was gonna be like all wilderness gameplay and stuff... but it looks like there will be towns & ports and even civil war battlefield like areas. So cool.

I really don't like the look of his Tomahawk but I do like how there is less of and emphasis on having to run through the city/rooftops where I was always sticking to crap I didn't intend to.

I've never preordered a game until this one. It just looks that good. The fact that it is tied to the revolutionary war (I love history) just makes it that much better.

The only thing I don't like is Conner's outfit... it reminds me too much of the older AC costumes. He should look more distinctly native American IMO; at least when he is outside of the city areas.

The game is coming out in three days and nobody is talking about it? For shame.

I'm planning on getting it, but I think I'll go with the PS3 version, since it has the four exclusive Benedict Arnold missions. One thing that has me a bit concerned though is the ending. Some people that claim to already own, and have completed the game are already crying foul. They are saying that the ending for this is comparable to Mass Effect 3. At this point I don't really know if that's true. I want to see it for myself. I haven't read any details about the ending, because I'm trying to avoid all of the spoilers.

Hmm. Hadn't heard about any of that. I haven't played any of the other AC games but am really looking forward to this one.

Picked it up on Wednesday and got to play for a little while last night. I'm enjoying it so far though the controls have taken a bit to get used to. It's fun running around attacking the soldiers until you get a dozen (or more) of them chasing you. I'm learning it is often wiser to run or a avoid conflict when possible.
I also noticed a lot of glitches while playing like characters speaking but their lips not moving during cinematica or weird fuzzy patches on their faces.

Its a very entertaining game so far with a unique movement/combat system and its also a good puzzle game (eavesdropping rawks)

Finally got a couple of hours to play tonight after initially playing it on Friday night. I'm liking this game more and more. I've discovered that no matter what the mission is, what I really want to do more than anything is just run around killing the British soldiers.

yeah,a few bugs.
tip,if you ever get frozen in place and cant move after finding a clue (i founda clue) just go to the map screen and fast travel.you dont got to reset if that happens.
controls can be a tad sloppy from time to time, mostly when running like a scared rabbit from a dozen bastich red coats.
the marine missions are fun too.
recently met sam adams, paul revere and george washington.i do love the historical aspect in this game.
and where is all the bears?i only was able to kill bears where it was the mission so far.

Finally finished up Haythan's portion of the game and am now a young Connor. It was kinda interesting how on the one mission I was eavesdropping on George Washington and another soldier, and when I attacked them I was actually killing Washington. That's all kinds of messed up. lol.

I found some in the upper-southeast portion of the Frontier. Can't remember if it was Troy's Wood or Packanack. There's a "hunting lodge" mission that has you tracking down a man-eating bear, and when you go to find him there are a bunch of other bears around the area. I think I killed like a half-dozen of them before I went and completed the mission.
But Beavers are where the easy money is at.....

i bought this game the day it came out, never having played any of the other assassin games.
i like it. arkham city revolutionary war style.
anyway, i'm out of arrows and i don't know how to get more.
i read online that you can buy them in a general store?
i've gone into those stores and i can't find arrows among the weapons options.
anyone know a quick, easy way/location to get more arrows?

It was a good game, but the glitches are near game breaking. You cannot get 100% completion due to it. Don't bother going after the Common Man sidequest, the game will NOT recognized that you finished it.
Connor is also one of the worst characters of the game. Instead of doing anything truly likable, he just whines all of the time. I also do not like how the controls have been changed and the set pieces are NOTHING like they made it look on the trailer. If you try to recreate the trailer, you get Desynchronized. FInally, Desmond's story is utter ****. His ending just completely ruins the entire series due to how awful it is.
On the positive side, the Navel battles are awesome and fun. I hated them at first, but once I upgraded my ship and learned how to work the controls, most of them were very enjoyable to play. The sets are cool, as it is great to travel to Boston and NY and see them from around when they were first built.
Overall, I give it a 7/10. The glitches, altered control scheme, and Connor really bring the game down, not to mention Desmond's ending nearly ruins the entire series for me. However, what was done right, was truly fantastic.

as of saturday morning i was on top of the leaderboards on xbox for riots started.sadly for only a few hours.i wont even bother to compete and keep after it,at least i was top for something once, even if it was redundant.
i ran into a glitch at brazil,i entered in wrong set of doors escaping into the metro, got a white screen and had to dashboard it,i was able to restart at begining of mission.ran into same glitch in the frontier on another mission when i entered a camp from probably the wrong side.
controls are a bit sloppy but this game is still fun.i am in the last 20% of the game.
