Looks great, Serpentor's been one of my favorite characters and favorite Cobra leaders since I was a kid. This one looks Great.

Except Hasbro's released him THREE times now, and he's still not right.

I always hated him in the show, Cobra Commander should have, well, always been leader of Cobra. I do like that they overthrew CC, and how they made Serpentor (I have yet to watch "Arise Serpentor, Arise!" as an adult, so it could be terrible) but he was overly obnoxious.

I loved the toy though, and although he didn't have a lot to do in the regular stories I came up with, he still played a pretty pivotal role a lot of the times. And his air chariot was pretty dope.

I was SO disappointed at the first excuse of a Serpentor that they single-carded. The second was even worse, and the 3rd at least had the correct helmet/hood, but the colors are still off.

Now THAT, Eddie, is Serpentor. I don't mind the addition of the Roman skirt thing, but he looks good without it too.

thanks guys for all your comments...but i really didn't do too much...

-swap out arms and legs

-paint a bit of gold (model masters) up to the muscle lines on his torso and a bit on the boots

-mix up some yellow for his gloves and snake "lips" on the helmet

i was never a huge fan of Serpy either, but i did like the classic look...so far all the releases have been a let down...the yellow torso on this one made a great base along with the new snake harness that wraps around his arms and across his chest...i debated painting the fangs white and giving him the silver detail on his right hand like the OG...what do you guys think, should i add these?

Paint the eyes on the snake hood black and definitely paint the fangs white.

Not sure on the silver, but it might look good.

Looks really nice. Do the snakes on his body come off easily? I want to see if I can just take them off and put them on the single pack Serpy. My DVD one's right hand broke off and I'm thinking of just using all the parts on the single pack one but don't want to rip off the snake if it's can't be put back on.

Actually, the snakes come off really easily. They just fit like a harness, however, I can't believe they glued his backpack piece in place. Why would they do that?!?!?! or did I just get the worse luck with this battlepack, broken Serpentor right hand, Dusty missing harness and now Serpentor's backpack glued on.

sometimes the snakes have a bit of glue holding them in place, but why they glued the "backpack" in place is beyond me...when i first got mine i was pulling like crazy to get it to come out because i just "knew" that they wouldn't permantly adhear it...guess who was wrong...

well...im not much of a customizer but I already gave the dvd serpy the belt from the vehicle serpy and its coming out good so far...lol, next i will take out the lower legs and do a switcha roo.
