I swear I have seen Two versions. The one I got today that shirt collar is red around the back of Duke's head but the two triangle shaped collar flaps are green matching the rest of the shirt, does anyone have one with red triangle shapes, by the wings on Dukes chest and by the shoulder strap on the right side of his neck/shoulder? Does it mean anything more than a paint mistake at the factory?

i think the variant thing is fun actually. Depending on the variant. An intentional variant is fun...silly paint mistakes are silly.

This whole Variant thing is Dumb......
Why?
There were several when the line started. Snake Eyes, Stalker, Shipwreck, Gung-Ho...
Did I miss something? Did Hasbro say they were finished with the variants?
Paint schemes could just be mistakes, people not paying attention to detail or just being lazy.
Wraith is a variant, so it looks like they are still doing it.

Lol!
God bless ya, Deck!
Greenshirt, the pic that Eopie posted shows Duke with a greenshirt and a red collar.
So what you saw was most likely someone not paying attention to their paint-by-numbers book when he came down the production line. Some may try to pass it off on Ebay as a variant, but no go.
Hasbro may have a list of the official tally of variants somewhere.
Personally, I wish they would knock it off, for reasons previously stated, but obviously they're still doing it. The only one I liked was the Wraith variant, but after seeing closeups of him, I've changed my mind. He sucks.
