First of all, I sat down with my daughter and she watched the 1987 animated movie for the first time and she said she loved it. I'm glad she had good taste in movies.
Second, I finally bought the GI Joe Series 2 Season 1 on DVD. I've watched 7 episodes so far, and even though its not as good as the original series, its entertaining, enjoyable and good to see the late 80's characters in action. Yes, some of the voice work is not very good, but it's still a fun watch.

Now I'm going back to 1985 and watching Commando.

Don't villains know not to mess with Arnold's, Bruce's, Mel's and Liam Neeson's family. It always ends badly for them.

Glad you shared that awesome experience with you daughter. Can't wait to do the same with my kids.

I went through and watched the entire Sunbow series with my eldest daughter (8), not to mention the animated movie. For a time after her introduction to Serpentor, anytime she would want something, she would conclude her request/demand (jokingly of course) with a "This! I command!" proclamation exclamation. I couldn't help but laugh at that one. Kids...gotta love 'em!
