Man WTF,
Everytime I go over to hasbrotoyshop.com everything is always listed as out of stock, well not everything but most of the things I want.
Why can't I never be able to get the items I need from HTS. Do people actually sleep by there computers/laptops or something. Or do they leave their computers logged on to HTS and never leave the site.
Does HTS put a limit on the amout you can buy.
Apparently they don't, because everything sells out in minutes. They really need to improve the site more by keeping more product in stock and put a limit on the amount you can order.
I know scalpers like to buy up all the joes in the brick-or-motar stores but now it looks like we have a new breed of scalper called THE CYBER SCALPER.
If there out of stock does that mean forever or is it a temporary thing, I just hope they get it back in stock ASAP.
Now do you feel my pain.

It is hard to get new items on HTS. You have to be there when it becomes available, otherwise you miss it. Been lucky with some BATS, but I really wanted wave 10. Just the way it goes.

That promo code probably didn't help keep the items in stock long.

I think a bigger problem is cyber-whining.
I spent 10 hours on a construction site yesterday (completely offline), and when I came in to my office at the end of the day, I saw the topics about new items at HTS, went and bought them, no prob. Most of us do not spend all our time logged on to HTS, that's why the "___ is in stock at ___" threads are so popular here.
Sorry you didn't get what you wanted, but accusing your fellow collectors of being scalpers for buying figures that are restricted to 1-2 each by HTS.com is NOT scalping. It's absurd and whiny.

maybe in two months all the scalpers will return the troop builders to Hasbro all at once and they will be available again.
did a scalper eat your baby? you have a clear obsession with them. what's next, scalpers caused the subprime mortgage crisis? scalpers killed Kennedy? scalpers rigged the Pats/Giants Super Bowl?

The only upside to HTS seems to be that they ship pretty fast (at least for me they always seem to). That's when they actually have product in.

Wow, you got it. I'm not really supposed to reveal this.... but I really do just sit there all day and buy stuff our spyware has determined that you've been looking for. Sometimes I'm not fast enough, but I have a couple of assistants who just click on a toggle on the web site to flip it from "Mass Quantities Available Now!" to "Sold Out" when our online monitors have detected a connection from your IP.
Does HTS put a limit on the amout you can buy.
Yes, they do. But we get around this by placing multiple orders. As you can imagine, it's a terribly time consuming and costly venture. It's worth it, though. It's really just that important to snatch up all that stuff you're interested in before you get it. I can't explain the details of all this to you yet, since I'm from the future and preventing a globe threatening disaster and giving you too much info is dangerous.... but trust me, it's entirely necessary.
Apparently they don't
This is only one of many things you're incorrect about. After we're done focusing on this issue and securing the safety of the world, we'll begin discussions about that thing you do in the shower with your ABBA cd playing.

If by "new" you mean it started about 15 years ago... spot on, chap!
If there out of stock does that mean forever or is it a temporary thing, I just hope they get it back in stock ASAP.
They are the manufacturer, I will leave it to you to make an educated guess. However, I assure you that I and my team will be doing our very best to prevent your purchases.
Now do you feel my pain.
Dear lord! I hope I never feel your pain! Especially that stuff that happens in March of 2010!

That fall20 code certainly helped me decide to order some items yesterday. I missed out on the wave 10 figures, but no reason to be upset about it. I'll get them eventually. I did manage to get the 2 new DVD sets and some vehicles. The 1st wave of these items don't seem to be selling much in my area.
I don't sit at my computer all day either. It's all about being on the right times. Sometimes luck is on your side, sometimes it is not.

what's next, scalpers caused the subprime mortgage crisis? scalpers killed Kennedy? scalpers rigged the Pats/Giants Super Bowl? No, but they are definitely a competitor to Joe fans community which disturbs me and many Joe fans as well.

You think that there are only two or three people ordering from HTS? As soon as one person notices they have stock in, it gets posted on a Joe site. Within seconds it's on EVERY Joe site. And then every collector who happens to see the postings rushes over to attempt to buy the figures. So you end up with a bunch of people all buying their limit and then some of them placing additional orders to make the squads they want. Speedy sell out. It's like sales on Black Friday. You go wanting to buy something and discover there are a hundred people showing up at the store at 4 in the morning and then snatching every last one of the items before you can even manage to get your hands on one.

Items were up for sale for 8 hrs yesterday. Anyone who has a normal work schedule and computer access coulda bought these items. Sure it sucks, but most of us just say "oh well, I was too late." Its nobodys fault, no need to complain. If this is the worst part of your life, you have no room to complain.

This situation reminds me of a quote from the movie "Kelly's Heroes":
[Oddball sees that the bridge he wants to cross is intact and is pleased with himself]
Oddball: It's still up!
[a plane flies over the bridge and bombs it... direct hit]
Oddball: No it ain't.

I can't wait to get my box full of diapers with week old baby shit (BTW, what else do you find in diapers besides shit???) That discount code made it cheaper than shopping brick and mortar. I'm estimating I saved $45!!! That's like 2 single figures at Target!!!
