Ok so let me starts off by saying that while I am overall happy with my modern era vehicles I have a few gripes

#1) Wave 1 Target Exclusive (HISS, AWE, NIGHTSPECTOR) Filecards were printed on the package (not package inside) No Figure Stands for any of the vehicle drivers, almost no accessories for the drivers either. Crankcase came with a knife and Grandslam came with a removable helmet and visor but the hiss driver didn't have anything at all. I know they were $10 but wtf hasbro....no figure stand? NO BLUE PRINTS, NO VEHICLE FILECARD

#2 Wave 2 vehicles (Black Hiss (w Ripit?), Vamp (w Clutch), Air Chairiot (w Serpentor) + Armordillo (w Steeler), Trouble Bubble (Tele Viper) + RAM (Breaker). These Vehicles look great but I still have a few problems. I liked that these vehicles came with packaged figure/vehicle filecards and the vehicle drivers came with a figure stand and more accessories than the target exclusive drivers (some lacked anything though namely the televiper and steeler) and breaker did not have his bubble gum. Steeler was a big letdown as far as accessories go. I was hoping to find an uzi and a visor inside the box. And correct me if I am wrong but did the original flight pod (trouble buddle) come with a spiked airial mine? Wtf hasbro? Oh and correct me if I am also wrong but didnt the press release say black hiss w/ Rip it (why does the filecard and figure stand say hiss officer?)

#3 Wave 3 Target Exclusives (Conquest w Slipstream, Rattler with wild weasel) Again with printing filecards on the box? These came with blueprints and the drivers come with figure stands. Not much for accessories between slipstream and WW and slipstream looks stupid in my opinion but hey why not. Ill wait for a skystriker....also these vehicles were the most expensive though they were also the biggest.

#4 Wave 4 Vehicles (Firebat w AVAC), (FANG w Viper + CLAW w Air trooper), (Leatherneck w Desert AWE striker). These vehicles came with blueprints, vehicle filecards, and figure stands. Ok so wtf is wrong with the firebat package? Why was the vehicle filecard and avac filecard printed on the packaging (while all others are being packaged inside) and why is the VAMP listed with the SHARK as other vehicles available on the back? Also wtf happened to the Shark? Was this not released with these? Ok let also say: where are the other two claw missiles? Leatherneck looks like GUNG-HO desert marine, and I dont like the paint scheme on the cobra air pilot / viper pilot. Glad to know the new firebats fit in the old terror dromes. No accessories for AVAC(?)

So in closing; HASBRO, if your going to package any modern era vehicles in the future
1. Pack loose figure/vehicle filecards inside the packaging
2. Always include a figure stand and atleast one accessory for the vehicle driver
3. Always include Blue Prints for the vehicle
4. Make the Vehicle Driver a figure I would want to buy even without the vehicle.
5. Other than that try to keep vehicles under $15 but thats just asking to help my wallet though....

i think they just through whatever they have left over into those vehicles.

I dont care about weapons, or the file cards or whatever. The one thing that does bug me though is not getting the figure stands because then i have to buy more,or i have to jack them from my other figures. Then they dont have the names of the figure on them.

so glad to get these vehicles i have no complaints

but my only disagreement with your post is the $15 price limit.

many of us are willing to pay a lot more in order to get hasbro to make the vehicles we want, which by the way most of which are NOT the small scale vehicles

my top five

1.night raven
2.ferret
3.rolling thunder
4.dragonfly
5.whale

only one of those is under the $15 price point

otherwise all your concerns are legit.

Hasbro by there very nature seems to be very inconsistant with everything they do. I have stopped trying to figure them out, as it just gives me a headache.

Don't get me wrong, I am very glad for the new Joe line, but sometimes it can be frustrating.

my two cents are this

hasbro never thought this line would sell like it has, they were not prepared and are still not prepared for it, so a lot of this stuff was stuff they decided to do at the last minute and the vehicles that they could redoo the quickest and get them out to us, while staying cost efficient

Probably true. But by now they should get it.

There's been a lot of inconsistencies and not just with the vehicles.

$15 vehicles and in some cases TWO vehicles for $15 and figures to boot? Sorry I have few complaints.

I just don't get the need for stands.I don't know if its just me but isn't that what the vehicles are for? Why put them on a stand when they come with a vehicle?

I can understand some people wanting to have the stands for drivers. It's not a big deal for me though. If I want to put them on a stand I can surely find an extra Duke/SE/SS/CC stand to use.

To answer the thread starter's questions about the inconsistencies: I don't know why, but it's just the Target exclusives that don't have stands. I also figure they didn't come up with the idea of including file cards for the vehicles until after the first set of 3 were sold there. Target releases also have the file cards printed on the boxes instead of being separate inside the package. I wonder if this will also be the case for the Ultimate Battle Pack set since there are so many figures and vehicles in it.

As per this thread, I'm DISTURBED by the inconisitency too.

man, i have at least 40 stands in a zip-lock bag! not a big deal with me. i also have a ton of weapons as well, a lot of the figures can't hold them anyway.

what bugs me most about the vechs is the damn wires! i have a special pair of metal cutters just for these. i know they are a necessary evil, and they are padded metal, but i can't stand these things. there's someone in china whose really gifted at knots and he or she show's them off for me everytime, hence the cutters.

i miss the art on the boxes as well. they went way outta there way to add art to sigma six, why not a line selling better? they were definately caught off gaurd by its success, and maybe they aren't taking any chances with the economy and all.

there's someone in china whose really gifted at knots and he or she show's them off for me everytime, hence the cutters. Employees are probably paid $2 bucks a day, so I think its crucial that they do a good job to secure our toys well.

The Vehicle Line is my Favorite part of this whole 25th line,i'm a old School ARAH Figure Collector. So the Figures that come with all the Vehicles I buy, pretty much stay in the Box.I'm going to start selling all the Figures I get with the Vehicles, that will help cut the cost of the Vehicles.

I totally agree. HOWEVER,like I said in a lot of posts now Hasbro needs to go all in and commit to this line. It obviously has sold beyond their expectations so someone needs (in marketing and above) to make a clear diagram of the future of this line so it can continue to be successful and not based on blind luck and most of us "stupid" fans (myself included here) who buys everything they put out and am just glad to get it.
