I need some help understanding how the comics are valued. I have a bunch of the old ones and they all have never been read. They were put into sleeves and sealed still til this day. I get lost in the whole first print, second print, blah blah blah. So i figured i would just show some pics of what I have. Any help would be great because I am oblivious to this sort of stuff. Also I circled some differences in the last pic. What is the the deal with the two different spiderman heads where the bar code should be and one saying 25th anniversary in the top left corner and the other not.

hey whats going on? i can help you figure it out. the big way you can tell the difference between 1st print and second print is the actual pricing on the comic itself.up to issue 33 i think 1st print is .60 cent cover and 2nd print is .75 cent cover. the big issues if you have them that are worth anything is 1-5, 21, 26-27, 100, and anything up in 125+. the higher numbered issues had limited print runs. I actually own a comic store so if you wanna send me a private message about which issues you have i can tell you what each one is going for.

And the spider man head was a bookstand release.

The ones with the 25th on them.(don't quote me on this) is for marvels 25th anni.

The bar codes indicated that it was a massmarket release (grocery store, book store, etc..). Those are generally less valuable then direct market (comic book stores). The spider-man heads in the box (where the UPC would be) would be direct market.

The 25th indicated Marvels 25th anniversary.
