I thought I had posted this custom on Hisstank. It does have lighting effects that are not pictured here. I have a lot more WIP pics if needed.
This custom is taking a little longer than expected (started last summer. At last the camo and decals are done! Still need to do weathering and damage and it'll be done!
Here are the updated pics of the mech:

Thanks everyone!! Glad to see the positive response to the customs I've posted so far! Spend a lot of time on these and still get the feeling I'm missing! You all are frick'n awesome!
Taterbot, this is part of my 'verse, a post invasion earth. This mech, leg assemblies and controls were reverse engineered and human tech/weaponry were used to build the main body and hydraulics for the legs.
Here is the link to the FB page. It has the background, weaponry breakdown, and WIP from start to eventual finish:

I dig this thing, and that's saying something coming from someone that's rabidly anti-mech (at least the way the Japanese do it).
I'd like some more info on the launch tubes (Mk 40s/Hydra 70s?). I've been looking for something like that to do 24-shot M3 and 7-shot M158s for my Huey gunship.
Is it just brass tubing?

Hey everyone thanks for comments!! Still learning with each project so good to know I’m on the right track. I’m going to finish the mech this week. Using cauterizing tool to do the damage. Weather it and it’s done!

I have a link to the album and the backstory for the vehicle on FB. I have been working on a sci-fi book series. It's broken into 4 main concepts but right now it's bunch of short stories. Some of the vehicles that I customize or scratchbuild are in the story.

I hope to gain more knowledge with moulding and casting. There are several vehicles and figures I would like to cast for sale.

Thanks for comments! I was going to make my own launch tubes using styrene or brass tubing. But, I went with the Trumpeter 1/35 Chinese MLRS model kit.
I used the parts, built the MLRS tubes and used them for the mech. Drilled hole through the center of the launch tubes so that they both can elevate up/down. Since 1/35 launcher, I had to make them more of a light rocket or mortar style artillery piece. Hope that makes sense?
My next project will use brass support beams due to the length and weight of the vehicle. No images yet since I have it in design phase, getting parts and material for the build.

Very clever using the launch tubes from a Type 89.

Excellent work, thought at first it was a Battletech mech, but great design work and execution...I look forward to the WIP pics, gonna check them out later...
