Courtney Fleming and Brianna Womick have taken a picture together during the filming of GIJOE. Brianna is credited as being a Parisian Girl on IMDB, but she is wearing a Joe uniform in the picture!!! I really think that the whole cast is more than meets the eye...my second part to this will be up shortly

pic taken from Courtney Fleming's official site.

this movie is a huge joke. Im gonna spend my $10 on another BAT and a pack of star bursts. Then im going to watch it on a pirated DVD site and make a paypal donation to them just to make sure movies like this make less money than they could.

i think the real twist would be if this movie ended up worth while, rather then not even being worth trigering the nerve endings that activate a thought process about this crap fest.

I think if they randomly cast anchors from the weather chanel and let a wild african lion write the script it would come out better than this thing.

They actually look like fans dressed up for a Joe convention.

I'm not sure those outfits ever make it into the actual movie.

Believe it.

What you WON'T believe is how completely NOT like Cobra Commander the Cobra Commander will look.

Don't read this if you don't want trip across spoilers. Okay. You've been warned...

1. The movie is brain-numbing endless action interrupted frequently by a disturbing number of flashbacks.

2. Cobra Commander and Destro don't have many scenes in it. Baroness and Storm Shadow seem to do most of the heavy lifting.

3. Cobra Commander is a former Joe who turns against the team after a failed mission during which he's disfigured. He's described as having a monocle and a disfigured face the lower half of which he covers with a robot or cyborg looking mask

4. Destro is hardly ever seen in the classic Destro mask.

5. The Joes all wear black body suits for the first half of the film. Towards the second half, they wear what has been described as "robot suits."

6. There is a battle in the snow towards the beginning of the film.

That sounds terrible. Really. Terrible.

I hope you are totally wrong.

So are they wearing the black suits in the snow? That would be classic.

I'm not sure if they wear those black Matrix suits in the snow scene. I know it's the outfit the largely wear before switching to their "robot suits" in the last half of the film.

You have no idea how I cringe every time I type "robot suits" in regard to this film!

That sounds more like Overlord than Cobra Commander.

I SO want to like this movie, but the more I hear, the more skeptical I am.

Please be good! Please be good! Please be good!

Well, the monocle, cyborg mask, and disfigured face have all been identified as being on "that kid from Third Rock From The Sun" so I'm pretty sure its Cobra Commander.

Oh, I'm not doubting that's Cobra Commander in the movie. I'm just saying that's Overlord's look.

After what they did to the Transformers' designs, I wouldn't be surprised. I'm all for "creative liberty", but you can't crap all over the source material like that.

With X-Men, I wasn't too keen at first on the black leather suits, but let's be real... Yellow and blue spandex isn't really "real world". I know we're talking about superheroes with powers, but leather was at least a little more fitting in a "real world" setting, if super heroes DID exist.

Joe has always been fairly realistic in their uniforms, I don't get why they're doing the terrible Batsuits for GI Joe.

Also, when I heard CC wasn't going to have a hood, I immediately lost any respect for their art direction on the film.

At least I enjoyed the TF movie after I saw it, although I stand by my hating of their designs. Prime was the ONLY one remotely close to his classic look, and the voice helped A LOT. Megatron blew, and I'm afraid the CC from the film will suck ass, completely.

So true... I guess for some people there's truly nothing better to do than b!+@h all day about a movie you've never seen while you wait for the next toy shipment to arrive at Walmart... Wow, how utterly miserable...

the question is, if this movie is a big success and the toys fly off the shelves with the kids, and it becomes the standard for G.I. Joe, how many of you will give up G.I. Joe just because this one movie regardless of whether the sequel implements the more traditional aspects of the characters as the actual story and conflict takes more shape?
