Black Headed IG Destro ?

How rare is the Black Headed Iron Grenadier Destro from the comic packs ? is it going for anything online ?... I found one but I couldn't decide if I really wanted it .... any info would be appreciated.

i found one today it was pretty exciting especially since i saw some scalpers picking up a set of the newest vechicles but left a black headed destro/IG pack

No one knows, although we do know he was a "first wave only" variant, and will probably soon become hard to get.

I think initially people who recieved multiple cases said 1 in 3, but that was because a guy got exactly 3 cases and one of them had the variant. Since then I don't think they're being found quite as frequently.

I found one yesterday....not sure how rare he is. I can tell you that it was the first time I saw him. It was funny, I thumbed thru the comic packs & two packs from last there he was.

When I got mine, the TRU had more black-headed Destro's than Gold. That was about a month and a half ago...Just random luck of the case I guess...

I saw three tonight so he's making a re-apperance, I picked one up yesterday cause I thought "wow a BHD! Weee" so that makes four I have seen locally in 2 days....

I think his days as a rare commodity have ended at least for one more round of comic packs...Any Walmart restocking CPs proabley has put at least 1 out per box as I saw 2 at the same store with an equal number of the other comic packs, 3 Gold headed Destros and 1 Black in equal numbers.

Either that or I have the dreaded BHDittis syndrome :( will be all I ever find now

I have found 3 in about 2 months. Somebody will want it. I got a SSDC Black suit Cobra Commander for one of mine.

check the date code on the back. the one I found this week had a code saying it was made right around the same time wave 9 was made (the first ones). that wouldn't mean new ones are being made, but that the cases have been either sitting in the stock room or in a warehouse and are finally being put out. the store I found mine at had the pegs crammed with CPs from waves 1 - 3 and they finally had enough room to put another case out.

Where is the date code? I dont see an imprint number on the CP as I do on the Single Carded figures. That is a good point, if I could find it.

they are all over the revision. i got one today aswell. so they were never really rare in the first place.

I got a minty one I found last night. I would prob. trade it for a new conquest or a couple of the other vehicle packs.

They ARE still rare. These are the last of the first wave. I have seen a total of 6 black heads to 65+ gold. I have also seen fresh cases with NONE.
