PS3 resolution question & a "Move" question

So the other day I turn on my PS3 and the screen seems messed up. I have a 1080P TV and it seems like its not recognizing the PS3 as an HD device. It wants the black bars on the side to make the resolution look correct. When I use the TV to adjust the resolution, it wont give me "Dot by Dot" to choose from, only "Stretch". I went onto Netflixs last night and it looked HORRIBLE! I know it didnt use to look this way. Im guessing some kind of setting got reset, but I dont know what, when or why. Any ideas?

Also, I just got a Move bundle. Can I use the camera to web chat with someone who uses a PC and random chat program, or can I only chat with someone else on a PS3? Ive been searching the net since last night and cant find any info. Thanks!

If you unplug the PS3 from the TV you probably have to reset the settings. Go to Display Settings and select Video Output settings. You will then go thru the set up and it will recognize the HDMI cable. As for the chat question I have no idea. It's basically just a web cam but I'm not familiar with how the chat programs work.

I tried adjusting like that and it didnt work. Its like the TV isnt recognizing the PS3 as an HD device. Ive tried other cables and its the same thing. Maybe Ill try the upstairs TV and see what happens. In the meantime, ts REALLY pissing me off.
