View Full Version : Wave 1 flint embosed logo

So i noticed some people saying the embosed logos didnt start showing up untill wave 4 or 5 but i was looking at my figures and noticed my wave 1 flint logo is embosed. Anyone else have anything like this?

just noticed the foil print is off-centered too

no wave 1 figures had embossed cards. Flint was released later in three different revision waves, where it was possible he was produced with an embossed card, but then wouldn't be a wave 1 Flint.

wave 1 Flint means released in wave 1. what you have is one of the revision wave Flints.

what waves had him in revisions?? what was the date stamp for the first release? the stamp on mine is 71442

He was never rereleased on foil card. Which is why he is demanding so much on the aftermarket.

The revision waves are white boarder cards.

i think what he ment was he was a filler in later waves like 2 or 3. But like i said, people on here were saying these logos didnt show up untill wave 4 or so.

So my questions is,has anyone else seen an embosed logo on a wave 1 figure? I have had this guy for over a year now and just noticed this.

what waves had him in revisions?? what was the date stamp for the first release? the stamp on mine is 71442

he was released in 2 different wave 3 revisions in 07, and a later revision that surfaced in mid 08. the revision Flint I have is 72882.

yeah, i dont think i have ever seen any other wave 1 on embossed cards. I didnt even know about these untill recently. I was unpacking my figures and noticed my Flint was embossed. I have a Major Bludd, DOC, Snow Job, and silver PDD like this too.

The snow job i have is like a mirror.

i just looked on ebay and the erliest figures i can find with these logos are Destro and Scarlett

The wave 1 Flint was never on an embossed card but there are some with shinier foil cards like the one you have. I have one too.

wouldnt that be the embossed logo then?

Its indented in like the others, and high glossed. I dunno, i think the logo thing is lame.

Thanks all for your help. I think i will put this one to rest and and just enjoy whatever figures i can find.

It does kinda look indented but when I rub my finger across it, it's smooth whereas the Wave 4 embossed ones you can feel the indention. I don't know. I have 3 different carded Flint with different silver logo varying in how shiny they are.

One has the embossed look. (71442)
One has a shiny silver look.(71502)
One has a dull silver look. (72912)

I'll try to post some comparison pics shortly.

yeah, that top one is the exact one i have. Even the print is off centered just like mine. Crazy. Thanks for your help man.

I dont understand all the random inconsistant crap hasbro pumps out. Everything is different. Quality control must be garbage in their factorys.

I've got a cobra officer with the logo like the top flint. i wouldnt consider it a mirror logo like the w4 up 25th logos though.

My wave 1 Flint has an embossed logo too ,so dose my hooded Cobra Commander wave 1. I thought the whole wave did ? My logos are like mirrors lol.
