Does anyone know of a good 1:18th scale forklift?

CAT makes a toy line that's a split between 1/15th and 1/18th on scale. They look pretty good with 4" figures. WM and TRU carry the line. The line includes a Fork Lift, Bulldozer, and Digger.

Bruder, it's on TRU and Target's website and can be found in some stores like Farm and Fleet, Big R, Farm and Home Supply, etc.

Bruder is ok, but feels a little small to me. Especially their Fork Lift in the cockpit when the indie toy shop still carried them.

bruder is good. the large scale vehicles are awesome. i saw a flatbed tractor trailer w/ a construction vehicle on the back. usually closer to christmas time they have them at marshalls and tj maxx for cheap compared to the original high prices online.

Bruder is 1/16 so technically they are oversized. I can't recall how well the figures actually fit inside though.

Chap Mei had some cool stuff a few years ago, buldozer, mini and regular, forklift (never could find it), ect. Might be able to find it on Ebay.

On the fork truck I have the seat sits just a little too high and a given Joe's feet will dangle above the pedals. Now the telehandlers (http://www.brudertoys.com/en/usa/range/range-and-series/professional-series/commercial-vehicles/?tx_sortiment_pi1%5Bartnr%5D=02126&tx_sortiment_pi1%5Baction%5D=details) they have fit a 1:18 figure perfectly.

You can check them out at www.brudertoys.com (http://www.brudertoys.com). Seems like they've updated their site and toy selection significantly since I last visted. They now have figures.

Heh, no. I want a fork lift for moving around the Marvel Build a Figure crates packed with BATS and Marauders Gun Runners extra guns.

The Bruder one looks really decent. Bruder Toys - Overview: construction vehicles of the professional series (http://www.brudertoys.com/en/usa/range/range-and-series/professional-series/construction/?tx_sortiment_pi1)[artnr]=02511&tx_sortiment_pi1[action]=details

I have this one and enough potatos to fill it. They also make 1:16 potatos:
Amazon.com: Bruder Toys Forklift: Toys & Games (http://www.amazon.com/Bruder-Toys-02510-Forklift/dp/B00004U3DM/ref=pd_sim_t_5)

The pallet jack might also fit your needs.
Amazon.com: Bruder Logistics Set: Toys & Games (http://www.amazon.com/Bruder-2414-Logistics-Set/dp/B002M78LPK/ref=sr_1_42?ie=UTF8&qid=1329996098&sr=8-42)

Though if you're going to buy it, I suggest shopping for the better deal. You know, for another twenty bucks you also get the DHL Truck for ambushing Joes.

I wish somebody made a 1:16 scale stand up forklift, so I could do a self custom and play pretend I'm a work, even when I'm not a work.
