We went from the 25th package to as seen in the comics/cartoons.The marvel comics are being reprinted in to TPB.So,could the DVDs be far behind.Kind of stupid to Adv. something to the younger gen. and not have a way to see it.

And yes,i know there is a way to get them(its how i got them).I just want the real deal.Every time i buy a DVD pack,my burnt copy gets put in the trash for the real one.

I think they will be doing more "best of" packs in the spring of 09. They kinda hinted at that in a Q & A.

I really wanna see the full of the original cartoon released. Hopefully it is just a matter of time.

I think they will milk the "best of" sets with SE's, Dukes and CC's with 1 new figure in each set like the Alpine and then a few years later release the full set. Just a hunch

That sounds about right. Too bad, though. Around the movie release they could really clean up.

DIC did suck but if they released a set of DIC on DVD I would buy it lol.

With today's DVD market...
and the nostalgia market...

Is there some legal snag that is holding up DVD sets?

they are providing a way for younger consumers to see the cartoon -- the DVD packs. I'm not saying it is impossible that is Hasbro's intent to release them on DVD, I just don't think ther is a connection between the modern era packaging, the Marvel TPD's and a new DVD release. if there was some big, connected plan, we would have heard about it by now to tie all three together.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure we'll see the full TV set when the movie comes out. They did it for Transformers, they'll do it for Joe. Just a hunch...

If that will get me Capt. Gridiron, Bullhorn and Rampart, then they should go for it.
