just got the new DVD packs today and they are great!...

Dusty - not only does he have articulation at the normal chest point, but he also swivels at the waist!...his harness can be turned around and upside down and used for Zap and Short Fuze...the goggles come off the helmet...the cloth piece is elastic...i also think that every part is a new mold...

Quick Kick - yes he has a permanat karate hand, but it really works and makes him unique...his knees have what seems like extra articulation...and although he doesn't have ankle joints it works...it just looks nicer...imagine a joint on that nice clean looking foot...

Major Bludd - this toon version looks very cool to me AND his teeth are painted finally...he has all new boots...i made a small mod to him...i didn't like how his tags covered his blue collar so i cut them and glued them to appear to be coming from under his collar...

Snake Eyes - surprizingly cool...i wasn't expecting to like him so much but i do...it'd be nice if he was black but oh well...maybe the wave 13 version will be this one but black, fingers crossed...

Serpentor - i like him...some colors are off but between the three versions tha can be fixed...his correct hood/helmet looks great...plus he comes with straightened snake he threw at Duke...i modded him a bit too, and plan to mod him more to be a very close representation of the original...i changed out his boots, gloves and skirt

CC, Skeloton, B.A.T. - nothing too exciting...CC has a new larger head and open left hand, skeloton only has articulation at neck and waist, but his crown sword and loin cloth are removable and i fianlly have a BAT to battle damage, woo-hoo!...what do ya'll think of my dead alternate universe Steeler?

it DOES come off...he has hair and everything...it was a little stuck on at first though this may be why some think it is not removable...

you may change your mind as i did...but i would say, by far, Dusty is the best in the pack...he just seems leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the line...his swivling waist is how they should all be...

and i have no idea why they didn't use this mold to also make Falcon, it's perfect, just use some TF Flint arms...

Quick seems to be cheaply made. He just doesn't seem to have the same standards of quality as the other figs. He is almost Funskool like compared to the rest of the DVD pack.

So wait...you're telling me that Hasbro can make a multi-jointed skeleton using ball joints for the Indy line (a line which has less articulation than Joes) but when it comes to a skeleton in the Joe line, they give us Chap Mei articulation!?

i'm really hoping Dusty becomes the new "default body" that Duke and Snake Eyes V1 have been to this point. Just off the top of my head you could make a 100x better Leatherneck and Falcon using Dusty as a base. not sure how much time they'll have to use it since we know probably 90-95% of what's coming out before movie-time, but hopefully there will be exclusives and stuff to carry on...

Super-stoked to hear about the waist joint, that almost makes up for the crummy deco.

once you have Dusty you won't even notice the deco because he is so cool...it actually looks good and blends well with the rest of existing line cammo patterns

the arm articulation is okay...reminds me of v2 hawks

seriously, pull harder...either the glue on the helmet wasn't dry from the skirting or the paint on his hair was still wet when the helmet was put on...mine didn't want to come off either, but i had seen pre-release pics off it off so i knew it would come off with some force...

Congrats Eddie and thanks for the pics. I still plan on repainting the Dusty to look more on model but the surprise for me is the added waist articulation...finally! I think QK looks great but wil clearly need some eye work and LOVE your Dead Steeler!! Simple and effective.

So other people had these before now...right, didnt Destro have that Dusty 2 months ago? did it have waste articulation then? I dont understand how this is the first we are hearing about it...

What other new molds are coming soon? I wonder if anything else will have this...this makes me super happy and super sad...(throwing entire collection of joes in shoe box and putting under my bed...)

However, it seems weird...Legends lost waist articulation, the new 3 3/4 marvel figures lost it from pre production to packaged samples. This is just a bizarre move. That or Joes are becoming Hasbros favorites and getting things other lines have lost.

Yeah, I got both of my DVD packs today from GIJOEclub store, his waist does move and I popped off my helmet with confidence that it was supposed to, seeing you did yours (little stuck with apint or some thing on the left side), that is really cool. Mine has this special articulated waist, I wondered why it seemed loose down there LOL!

I think the next Battle Pack that Hasbro should make should be a dreadnok Battle Pack. Zander, Zarana, Moneywrench, Gnawgahyde, and a cool Zartan. Yeah, I can see that happening within hopefully the next year. Or at least make it an internet exclusive. Give us something dammit.

The Skeleton does not have a stand, he has to rest up against a figure, lay on his back or ride in the back of a rattler/hiss tank.

I did not order a Doc, I found him to be rather lame, I prefer the other medic guy Lifeline or whatever, but since my Joes usually are way to dead to need medical attention who needs medics :)

Just did not like him, my friend left him at my house when we were kids and I teed him up on my drive way and knocked him over my neighbors house accross the street....man did his body fly into a million pieces...ever wonder what a 1 wood would do to a joe! i agree..i really like the new Doc...they went the extra 1/2 mile with him and at least made him new lower legs instead of using CC's lowers which look quite similar and would'a worked okay...he just looks very accurate to the OG, mostly

I thought I was gonna break my Quick Kick right foot. It was stuck, but I heated him up and slowly moved it and it freed itself. Also my Quick kick has two right upper arms. Not really noticeably, but annoying. Will also have to swap him out when I find one at retail. My Serpentor I switched parts with the one from wave 2 of the singles. He looks really good now. Swapped his lower legs, the snakes that hold his cape up and his hands.

Looks like I'm joining the club. My Dusty was also missing the shoulder harness. I hope to find this pack in stores eventually so I can get one with the harness, switch it for mine without it, and return it to the store. I will of course tell customer service at the store that parts missing. I know Hasbro won't send out parts missing from there items so it looks like they'll be eating the costs in another (probably more costly) way.

The figure may look OK without it, but for what I'm paying for these figures, I expect to get ALL of the accessories. Getting less than 100% complete items when they are new doesn't cut it. I also would prefer to have them so that it looks like something is actually holding his backpack on. Too bad it would take a bit of work to do that for Quick Kick's backpack.

Quick Kick's backpack is molded upside down now too...well, at least to me it's upside down as I remember it being put on the other way before with the narrower part on top and the wider part on the bottom, unless I've had it upside down all my life.

I think the narrower part should be at the top even for the new figure, otherwise the pockets and main compartment would all be upside down. However, this seems to make the pack sit pretty far up on his back. I think my QK will be going bareback as there doesn't seem to be anything that would realistically hold the backpack on. The backpack should have some type of harness like the first Lady Jaye 25th Ann. figure. I'll have to see if I can find some way to modify QK's pack that will look right.
