We all saw this back in the day with Sgt. Slaughter and The Fridge but what about now? What present day celebrity do you think has what it takes to be a JOE and a new era figure?

Bruce Willis as John McClain. Or maybe John Cena since he still uses attributes from his "Marine" character. Of course Cena's got the same problem Slaughter does.

Got to be the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegar. If we're talking real life, how cool would it be to add a former body builder/action star/and current Governor to the Joe Ranks. Fantasy-wise, It'd be great to have him as Dutch from Predator. Awesome looking character. I think his whole team would fit in as Joes.

Ahem... Not to derail this thread or go off subject.....but, becaue of his Nazi/Political ties he may be a better fit for Cobra.

CM Punk the guy is a huge GI Joe fan. He has the Snake Eyes ARASHIKAGE tattoo. He also has a Cobra logo tattoo on his upper bicep and still collects Gi Joe. He is also one of WWE best wrestlers and just recently won the World Heavyweight Championship.
My favorite wrestler by far.

I think Hasbro should keep any and all celebrities out of the Joe team. Sgt Slaughter being the only exception I can think off. It made sense to bring in Slaughter...he was great as the in-your-face Sgt in the commercials......but the others?? c'mon the Fridge and Piper??? WTF??? Rocky??? WTF???

But wouldn't Ice Man have more of a ring to it? Plus he could have robotic arms with "Mechanized Gattling Punch" ACTION!

I'd like to see Jesus join Cobra.
Yet somehow, even though they have the Son of God on their team... GI Joe will figure out a way to foil th plan.

I was never a huge fan of real-world celebrities like Sgt. Slaughter or the Fridge joining the Joes. But fictional characters played by real-world celebrities, that's a different story. I always thought it would be cool to have a Snake Plissken action figure in the G.I. Joe style.

Ron Jeremy would make an excellent addition to the Joe team. Maybe Jenna Jameson and/or Asia Carrera as well. ;)

How about Bruce Lee?
Wait until you see the new Quick Kick figure. Almost a spitting likeness of Bruce.
As a child of the 80's, the Joes need a Commander-in-Chief, so Reagan (or a generic president figure resembling him of course) and Mr. T. Even fools need pitty.

Movie/Book/Comic figures to be made into Joes:
John McClain, Dutch and the Predator team, Rambo
Real Life Celebrities:
The only ones that would fit would be Bruce Lee and Pat Tillman.

Off the top of my head....
Rocky Balboa!
Also, Steve Rogers and John McClain would be cool choices.
