New ebay format?? Wtf?

has anyone else noticed how horrible the new ebay format is for looking at auctions? the worst part is i cant even figure out how to "opt out" or if it is even possible to do so. I am able to "opt out" of the horrible new search format but not the auctions.

Man what is ebay doing?

1. Jacked up prices
2. PayPal manditory
3. Like you said, the new format sucks
I've been there since 1998 and it has changed dramatically in 10 years.

Hey - did you finally get ebay working? I am not a big fan of the new format either. I am also trying to cut down my spending overall as well, so hopefully the new format won't be much of an issue..

I think ebay may be well beyond it's peak of evolution and is in the process of de-evolution. Bit by bit people will get fed up and discouraged with it as it modifies it's business model and eventually something new comes out and takes it's place as the next big thing.

yeah, had to reload windows and it seemed to fix my problem.But then once i got back on i was horribley let down lol

I asked a "customer" service rep on live chat about it and was told thats there new format and that it can't be changed yet I could opt out. Idk Its weird, I hate ebay yet sometimes still find bargins on ebay but thats once in a blue moon.

i just killed my seller AND buyer account with them. They are a joke and screw everyoine with their horrible policies.

Don't forget, the new search format no longer finds the earliest, or cheapest first. Goes buy store sellers or those who spend more on options (gallery, extra images, etc)

I will be putting on something tomorrow to see how it goes. It may be the last thing I do for a while.

New format, screw you sellers feedback, seller rating, new searches, paypal gouging. I just don't get it. The search part is the shittiest thing going. It's worse than the screw you seller feedback bit....

All you have to do is hover your mouse over the "Best Match" link and a window will pop up so you can select ending soonest or cheapest first, etc...

The biggest problem I have (Other than the bad bussiness practices, that is :) ) is that they seem to have gone very heavy with flash or java or somecrap like that with all the pop up selections and such so it slows the whole site down a lot on my computer

yeah the new format is pissing me off, i sell stuff from time to time and i dont use turbo lister or nothing like that i just click on sell and then keep it easy and now it doesnt even have that feature for me and i cant figure out how to get it back. i just want to simply put a few things up for sale but now i have to go threw a bunch of bs so whatever i guess. ebay sucks ass and i really hope something new and cheaper and better comes out like ebay, if it does then they will make millions once it ketches on.

Well, I'd thought there was something wrong with my computer.

Ebay is horrendously slowwwwww. Whenever I do any basic search, it takes forever for the results to load. If I select one, the same infernal wait. Hit "back" to the search results, the same.

The waiting is actually bad for my health, and yours.

I had planned on selling some stuff there eventually, but wanted to request money orders. Oh well. I have had no problem with Paypal as of yet, but I have only sent money. I have heard of people getting ripped off with the chargeback thing. I will look for a different avenue for my own selling if ebay does not change their policy.

god ain't that the truth. I was away from ebay for about a week, come back and said what the fuck?!?

All that crap, making it color coded. It just boggles the mind how they can make something that used to be easy not so complex.

Sellers who have not sold for over the past 6 months to a year are going to be turned away with the new formats. WAAAY too confusing.
