3 months and no new waves

We're about to be bombarded with joes--Waves 10 and 11, DVD packs, new Comic Packs and Vehicles as well. On top of that, tons of revision waves, then wave 12 before Christmas.

outraged? Wow. I wouldn't exactly consider a minor slowdown in the arrival of Joes a reason for outrage. Insane gas prices, perhaps. Taxpayers bailing out companies run into the ground by crazy rich, greedy CEOs, sure. A little perspective is in order here, dontchathink?

It does look like we will be inundated between now and the holidays. Olympics probably had something to do with the slowdown and it looks like they will make up for lost time. Hopefully we have all been saving up!

it may not even be a minor slowdown. perhaps Hasbro is actually stockpiling the waves so when they release them they will be in abundant numbers so they are restocked faster instead of the slow trickling of product prior waves have been subjected to and collectors were outraged about.

Hasbro doesn't release enough, collectors are outraged. Hasbro possibly amps up production numbers to meet demand which slows down the release, members are outraged. I'd say the constant is the problem, and it is the collector behavior, not Hasbro.

unfortunately, I think only crap will be released around Christmas time this year. That wave 13 garbage isn't something to be excited about.
Maybe the wave 4 vehicles will be out around December though, so there's a plus.

I think the Wave 4 vehicles are going to be in demand. Perhaps the Ultimate Battle Pack as well. And Matt Tracker.

Remember that we got waves 7-9 in a really short span of about 8 weeks which might have spoiled a lot of us. The Vehicles, DVD packs and other figure assortments that came out from July-September would seem to be the reason why there haven't been any single figure waves of late. Waves 8 & 9 actually came a little earlier than we all had thought they would, too (wave 8 was supposed to be a June wave and Wave 9 was originally planned for August).

For the record, I wanted to express myself as a collector and not a citizen. Please don't get me started on those issues...that is for another website. Nobody reading this can admit they aren't just a little pissed over the delay of wave 10. Anyway, many factors are at play here and I want to thank you all for bringing them to my attention.

LOL! Well, RR, I just sold 95% of my single cards and will be selling all the rest of my non Destro/Iron Grenadier related items after I move. So yes, I will be passing on Mutt and every other figure I want. I'm picking up Wraith because of his relation to Destro in the comic and will be picking up Matt Tracker & an Eel from wave 11 once that drops...other than that, the only other Joe items I'll be buying this year is the IG 3 pack and The Battle Pack from Target.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I can't wait for Wraith and he has a variant!!!!

Yeah, the variant is wicked. I really hope I can find it, but if not, I'll be happy with the main figure itself.

I'm only looking for Mutt in wave 10. I have the paraviper and bazooka trooper coming with my wave 11 case in Nov. from EE. I probably wouldn't pass up a Wraith if I saw him though (even though I really don't know a thing about him that I haven't caught here on the 'tank). He looks pretty cool.

I wouldn't worry too much... I just spent 50.00 on the Fang / Claw 2 pack, Firebat, and Awe Stiker with Leatherneck. SO they are coming and it won't be long until we hear... THERE'S TOO MUCH STUFF, I CAN'T AFFORD IT ALL !!!

I am starting to get my fill of driving 400 mile round trips on picking up wave 10, 200 miles from home, talk about gas money??? I have found another 3 wraiths, 4 bazooka troopers, 3 more TF Dukes and 2 more Mutts and Junk yards. Not a single clear wraith in 9 towns though so he could be just as rare as people are thinking, but who cares, I am not very fond of him especially since his face is fully painted under the helmet...not very stealthy~

But everyone is right, it would be nice for these to drop in multitidues but once we get all we need from the line and it compiles with all the older crap that is still not selling, we will complain even more as wave 11 12 13 and so forth get delayed or not ordered by the retailers because they have so much already they can't get rid of. Besides, the figs will all be wrapping up soon anyway to give way to the new junk from the movie, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel YAY!

And Matt Trakker? Yeah I like him and would love to see one! Screw his back pack though! Bring on Viper General Miles Mayham as well!
