blonde Hawk vs. "just for men" Hawk

Me, I never dug the brown-haired Hawk.

So...for my first big custom *drum roll please*--I took the blonde haired Hawk head from the comic pack and switched it with the brown-haired Hawk from the wave that's EVERYWHERE now.

And I'm a much happier person because of it.

Also, on a side note, I saw my first walmart bogus comic pack return. It was the crimson guard and scarface pack, and someone threw in the aforementioned blonde hawk where the Cg was supposed to be. And...for the little slot where the Cg backpack would go?

A pair of black flippers, I believe from The Corps.

Methinks I'd like to smack this douche around with a real set of black flippers.

The comic pack face sculpt was lousy and I am not a fan of yellow yellow hair. So I prefer wave 9, and yet, I do believe hawk should be blond; the sculpt of 9 with a realistic blond color, that's the way to go.

The cartoon brown hair Hawk is way more iconic. I love the wave 9 Hawk. And btw that comic pack Hawk was terrible, his face was super ugly.

The head sculpt in the SRO PAck was better then the comic pack, but no matter what I prefer my Hawk a brunette. W9 HAwk rules!

I like blonde hawk. It should be an easy head swap, but the skin tones on the general figure vs the comic pack are way off. (my first hawk had a glued leg at the hip and snapped right away, so I had the extra head)

i gotta go with blonde...doesnt make sence for him to have a diff hair color... plus i like the tough guy face on the comic pak hawk.... i used the brown hair hawk head for my action man custom....

I prefer the '86 version. I like to think HAWK used to dye his hair to impress the ladies. Now he is back to his old hair color since he has matured.

Another key hair change was Blonde Low-Light vs. Black haired Low-Light (with black Goatee as well).

...I then took the "just for men" hawk head and swapped it with Ace's head...I then took Ace's goofy head and gave it to Barbecue, who is now standing with his helmet in his hand.

And get your mind out of the gutter regarding the last part of that paragraph.

And I just dig an early-morning dig through the storage room and found a bunch of old Elite forces figures.

Gonna see what i can do with them now...
