Use to, till they got virus bombed.. DL'ed a file that killed my computer...literally. Had to go out and buy a whole new hard drive and such. thankfully, i have several computers lying around, so I basically just build the one I have now. Now I use Limewire. There was another site.. something like sharebear? can't remember the name of it.

You can get viruses from any of those download sites. But if you have good anti-virus software always running it will flag it for you and prevent it from doing harm. Limewire also has a built in virus detector ( not so much, but that's what it's there for) which usually works pretty well (it will detect corrupt files, but if you tell it to continue to download it won't delete the file).
