Iron Grenadier "Baroness" Custom

Well that Blue Baroness just wasnt fitting in with my IG's so i had to do this, and well i had no other ideas besides this for a new custom and thats when this idea was born hope evryone enjoys

this was pretty easy to make and i gotta say i love how it turned out.

Great idea for a custom ,i always wondered why back in the late 80's when they introduced Destro's Iron grenadiers why the Baroness wasn't a part of this organisation ,because she was known to have a very "close" relationship with Destro ,and so i thought she would be one of the first few to defect to his side away from Cobra ?
I always imagined if she did join Destro her costume would look a little simlar to his with the red cape and the big boots and puffy shirts that his army wore ,i don't know why Hasbro didn't do this with her character seemed like a waste to me ?
If you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism ,i found your photos were taken too far away from the subject ,i know you wanted to get the whole group of figures in the photos ,but we lost the detail and can't appreciate the craftmanship you put into customising the Baroness ,using a tripod next time would help and use some overhead lighting to accent the details and get a little closer like on the face ,or certain parts of the figures that have detail ..just a suggestion ,you don't need to get the whole figure in the photo with every shot .

Hey glad u liked it and as far as the photos i suck at taking them and dont have the best cam i plan on trying to get better at taking them i actually was worst than this when i started so ill get better as i go.when moneys better im thinking of getting a better Camera

At the time Baroness was busy trying to "rule" Cobra thru Fred, the fake Cobra Commander. Destro "rescued" her from Cobra during the first Cobra Civil War. There were no defections from Cobra to the IGs, they were composed entirely of Destro's personal guard from his estates in Scotland.

if i were you though, i'd cut off the gun on her waist so the sword would sit better...

hey guys for sum reason my camera evrytime i get close up on the figure it just blurs out the closer i get the worst quality it turns out im no expert at photo taking so maybe theres a setting on the cam i need to figure out ill try to get better at i promise

I have to admit I too was wondering why she never appeared in this uniform. I had thought of attempting to do something like this but I have to admit I do not like doing girl customs. Great now I will be forever known as the sexest customizer.

does your camera have the focus setting with the flower. That setting allows for close ups.

that's really slick. I think the cape works perfectly for her while she's doing the IG thing. Destro in his regulary get-up would look goofy w/a cape, but when he's got the IG gear it works, same thing for Baroness. Nice.
