can a seller automatically take it from your account?? im confused. there were multiple of the same figures on 1 auction, maybe this has something to do with it?? but i cant see ebay letting me know how other ppl paid?? any help?

Well a seller can't automatically debit your account. A seller sends you the invoice for the amount you agreed to pay then its your turn to take action. That involves logging into paypal submitting your password and then clicking make payment. I'd contact paypal or ebay directly with your problem to be safe.

I had a seller contact me today about something I recently won and say that they could not get my payment. It was showing "unclaimed" when I looked at it.

To put it simply...paypal sucks and has helped in the ruination of ebay.

Sounds like you paid for it all at once.

I had a problem similar to this last week. I had a auction that went over $100.00 and damn paypal put a hold on the payment. I ended up arguing for a day or so with them over this. They ended up telling me that the only way I could receive the payment before shipping the items was to see if the buyer would go ahead and leave feedback. This is some new part to there buyer/seller protection policy. Its a bunch of B.S. for us that do not sell alot or have the money to ship out of pocket. It would of been one thing if it would of been something small, but this was a large package. Sorry to derail from the thread topic..just wanted to vent my recent paypal experience.

I was actually in the midst of bidding on an item at the last second a week or so back and I was alerted as I went to confirm my bid the seller only accepts PayPal payment and it automatically denied my bid because my ebay and PP accounts weren't linked. My ass, I've been using PP for years to send and accepts payments and the two have always been linked. Maybe they're had a huge systems glich recently.
I also feel like I may have paid for an item twice and it has no record of it. I won 2 auctions with the same seller. Didn't mid so much about combined shipping and swear I paid. A few days later I get the invoice and ebay says I hadn't paid yet so I paid for sure that time.
