Movie theme first, and believe it or not I actually like the Dic theme better than the classic theme. Worst theme is Sigma Six.

I wish the GI Joe Movie had put together a rockin' soundtrack like Transformers did way back when. Maybe we'll get some new GI Joe music going with this new movie.

My favorite two are the animated movie intro and then it's tied between "Got to get tough" and the intro music from "Revenge of Cobra"

Most people think the DIC series was cheesy. And I preferred the Sunbow myself, but the DIC theme song was catchy to me back in the day. I was long out of joes then, but I would watch it come on tv just to hear the music.

THe Movie Theme is it hands down the best, I tell you when the voiceover guy starts "G.I.Joe is the Codename" bit and you see GEN. HAWK with his rifle bullets a blazing It still gets to me!

If I had to pick a second it would be the theme from the Revenge of Cobra, it was just cool!

Even though I am fond of the movie '87 movie theme....the 1985 and 86 cartoon themes were and still are my favorites.

The DIC "Got To Get Tough.....Yo Joe!" theme is good too. The cartoon was horrible compared to the Sunbow series, and I remember feeling that way back then, but I did still try to watch it whenever I could to see all those awesome 1990 vehicles I was collecting at the time. 1990 was really the last year I heavily collected, and I'm sort of nostalgic about it. That DIC theme brings back some pretty good memories for me.....

But not as many good memories as the 1986 Sunbow theme. Nothing tops that in my book.

I would have to say the first Mini Series was always my favorite theme and closing credits. I still get the theme in my head just thinking about it.

The movie theme is spectacular. However, after seeing it the first time, I was thinking "THIS MOVIE IS GOING TO ROCK!! Look at all my favorite characters" Then we get that...well... So the theme always made me think that they could have done better with the movie. It's like here's a great tease for what could have been.

After that, I'd have to say season 2, then Revenge of Cobra. Never saw much of the DiC cartoon, but I remember the theme song. But it's like they dropped the entire mythos of the original cartoon, so I was turned off by it.

Movie intro for sure, especially the Cobra parts. I don't know why but when the guy echos back "Cobra!" during the theme its kind of corny yet for some reason its not corny when I listen to it, I cant explain it.

agreed...IMO, these are the ONLY theme songs...anything after the movie (toys and cartoon) pretty much reminds me of Japanese bootlegs..lol
