Is it me or is wave 3 starting to flood the pegs?

Thursday I got a complete wave 2 and 3 at 2 different stores. Today I went into a target on my lunch break and a full wave 3 (-zartan)? It just seems like we're seeing some of the gear up for black friday?

I'm seeing lots and lots of the figures not selling on eBay (cept the yellow Stalker) so all those dirty scalpers are gonna get stuck with inventory unless they start lowering their $9.99-12.99-19.99 prices per figure.

I have seen the same thing in Oregon. Wave 3 has hit Targets and they are finally hanging around long enough to see a few days after they were stocked.

Wave 2 is still a ghost. Not sure if we will be getting more or not.

I noticed BBTS had Preorders available for Wave 3. They were previously listed as sold out. That gives me more confidence my 10/03/07 order will be filled!

I think thats begining to happen here where I'm at. I'm glad this is happening so the people that didn't get a chance to get can get them. Hopefully the 2-4 pegs Joe's gets an even larger section like the Staw Wars and TransFormers...more selection like the golden age hehehe:D

I am starting to see that here. Stores are stocking more than 1 case at a time, one Wal Mart had 8 cases worth of wave 2 out the other day. Every Target or Wal Mart I have been to had at least some Joes out (and not just SS, SE, & CC). I saw a Red Ninja and 2 Cobra Officers at a Target yesterday, and legions packs everywhere. I've also seen a bunch of Lady Jay and Buzzers on pegs. TRU had about 15 of the original Joe and Cobra 5 packs. I read on some thread that Hasbro said they were going to start shipping 25th Joes on planes rather than by boat to get them here faster, might be true b/c local retailers are getting shipments of wave 2 or 3 weekly now rather than monthly. Hope everyone is able to get their fill!

my brother went to walmart yesterday and said he found some of wave 3, so he asked the lady that works there if she was getting anymore and she checked on her thingy and said they were getting 300in but only 36 can fit on the pegs at one time, so she said keep checking back and i'm sure you'll find what your looking for!

I'm sure most will hit in time for black friday!!!

I concur. In fact, I've already done so. I thought I could sell a couple things on ebay and try to support the hobby. Or at least, that's how my twisted logic seemed to reason. Anyway, it looks like the extra figs I bought will have to go back to the store. I'm thinking the same for figures bought by other sellers.

in dallas for a wedding this past weekend and saw mucho wave 2 at walmarts. wave 3 at a target. i already have 3, save for shipwreck (who due to crappy paint ((AGAIN)) i still dont own).
picked up wave 3 for the groom and berated him for having me drive 500+ miles so i can find HIM figures.

i bought a few extra figures to fund my travels/hobby over the last 3-4 months as well. but the immaturity/jealousy here got you now thinking it's "evil" if you buy more than one set...that you don't deserve to be involved with this hobby.

I just got 3 Cobra Officers and a Storm Shadow to open. I grabbed another Storm Shadow too, I think I'm gonna mess around with painting him and see how that goes.

They had tons of Stormy's and Snake Eyes. One Zartan (No Color Change Sticker) but it was ripped open.

Yeah, what IS up with the plethora of SS's and SE's lately? I realize they are probably packed in every wave, but why so many of a character (specifically SE) who has historically been highly sought after and somewhat rare? All of a sudden he's like Paris Hilton on a weekend- showing up at the opening of an envelope! This just doesn't seem right.

Stopped at another Wal-Mart on my way home, scored 3 more Officers, a Firefly to open, 2 Red Ninjas and a Zartan without the color change sticker.

Not a bad haul for the day, although I wish the Officers were just regular troopers.

Its funny, b/c I get the exact opposite here. I've seen wave 2 (except the Cobra trooper, of course) all over the place, but I have yet to see any wave 3 figs in the stores. . .

Went to target today after reading this thread. They had other army figures other than the 25th on the pegs. And they subtracted 2 pegs. But i did find a Legion pack and three joe 5 packs with the packaging variance.

Nothing on any of the shelves. I went to Target in Valencia a few days ago and they had zilch, too. I can say there's no trace of a flood or even a trickle in this neck of the woods (at least when I seem to visit these stores). I barely ever saw wave 2 (only Buzzer and Serpentor twice).

Thanks, man! Maybe I go at the worst times or the worst days or something? I have been to the Super Wal*Mart twice when they were stocking the shelves at 2AM in the last 2 weeks (I go to work at 3:30AM) and no Joes at all. I'm chalking it all up to bad timing I guess. I'll get lucky one of these days I think. I really want Hasbro to re-release some of Wave 2, though.

What's crazy is...I found wave 3 all but 1 time, and it was only one case.

Now wave 2 on the other hand, I would find everywhere.

Now? Now I can't find sheeeeeeeeit. The usual suspects are on pegs: Hooded CC, Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow. A 5 pack here & there.

Wave 3 looked as if it might threaten to overripen the pegs here in Arizona, but it took all of about two weeks for the supply to dwindle back down to near zero again.

On the one hand I'm extremely happy to see these disappearing (means Hasbro will continue the line), but I also realize that someone is going to have to go without while there's none to be located.

Went to a local TRU last week and the pegs were completely cleaned out, except for a single arctic destro. That's right... Only one. It warmed my heart a little to see that even arctic destro is flying off the pegs.

Well what about wave 3 Zartan? I like the color change feature. Glad they brought that back for the 25th. Now if they could just decide whether they want the color change logo as a sticker, printed on the card, or not there at all, that'd be great!

I didn't think Storm Shadow was in wave 3, just 1 and 4. Then Ninja Ku in wave 9 or 10.
