I call it The Cobra Constrictor! I figured Cobra would need something to transport prisoners in.

I got a killer deal on a Kenner Aliens Evac Fighter MIB so I was able to open it paint it and then apply the decals (most of the ones that came with it). It works pretty well with the 25th line (especially destro).

Pretty wicked, man! I really like the idea behind the custom. ;)
Nice to hear that the 25th works with it!

You guys digging my stuff is quite an honor! I have to say I was inspired by some of Apac's work and that IG MCC C.I.A.D. did was absolutely siiiiick!!
I'm still getting used to the tape and spray technique but I think the paint I used was perfect for customs. It was "hammered-finish" spray paint I picked up at wal-mart.

Dude...if I inspired you...then it is I that is honored.
I seen the finish and figured it was the hammered finish...I was curious as to how that would look...it looks killer!!
You do know though...you opened panodora's box now. You will find yourself searching all aisles of stores...staring at items and saying to yourself: "hmmm...with the right paint...that would make a killer _______ vehicle." lol

Those EVAC fighters are dirt cheap on Ebay. I got this one MISB for $7.00 shipped! I'm gonna see if there were any other vehicles from that line.

I did that at Target, saw a "gift pack" box set of generic army figures, a watch tower and a small open-cockpit helicopter in army camo. I thought, paint it black with red trim and you've got a perfect FANG helicopter.
The box set was $15 bucks though, that's kind of pricey to buy just for the helicopter. The watch tower was cool though.

I came across this thread when I was googling for a possible aliens evac fighter customized for joes.
Ironically, I came across a loose one recently. Only thing that stopped me from buying it was that I found the cockpit to be a bit oversized.
Sometime back, I got a GI Joe Extreme Sky Stalker and had a cockpit module made to better seat a 25th anniv figure. I may do the same with the Evac Fighter!
Love the colors you did for the fighter btw!

I use the Powerloader from that line as a "hazardous material handler."

Kudos on your custom. I am seeing more and more different vehicles from different toylines being used for Joe's and actually working. Again, great work on your custom.
